One of my first post was my opionin about Walker and Hampson I copped a barage of abuse. I didnt abuse anyone just said my opinions and tried to tell you what i know about why he asked for a trade. When i expressed my discust at the Blues wanting to trade Jacobs I got called idiot etc because he "aparently" asked to be traded. Once I expressed my disappontment ar losing Thornton I coped it again. So by this stage it's free fo all and if you call me an idiot I'm going to call you a jerk. If I've made a statement that I claim to be fact that ended up coming up trumps then I'm gona let you know about it. Fair enough?
Ps there will be more uncontracted players wanting to leave and a couple more contacted players asing to be traded. Someone on this sight said Grigg was about to sign, well he wants out, doesnt anyone think it strange that these players want to leave? The last two that i can remembr is Hamill and Camporeole, the problem is Ratten who is making our club bleed. Even The JUDSTAR himself is pissed off, he thanked the coachig "staff" in his Brownlow speech. He didnt mention Ratten and the coaching staff have all left too.
You guys have no idea of whats really going on and i've been trying to tell you that, instead i got sucked into a slaging match which was not the point of me finally posting. It would have been great to muster the members to petition the board to rectify the problem. Turns out that your ego's are bigger and more important than our club and I chose the wrong people to help ask the board the questions. Im really not trying to offend any of you in saying that either so sorry if i have.

Just to be clear, I wasn't calling you a jerk, I was noting that it is easier for someone to slag someone else off on an internet forum because we're not face to face. People don't tend to go around calling each other names to their face in the normal course of any given day, even if they think it.

Posting style can also have alot to do with the response you get, its not just about the content of your post. A bit like how you talk to someone face to face, if your tone is aggressive or abrasive; well you get the picture.

Every poster has their favorite players and their whipping boys so your'e never going to have everyone agree with you.

With regard to inside info people are naturally suspicious until a reliable history of correct info is established.

As far as I'm concerned I'm happy to hear 'inside info' anytime (makes us feel like we're part of the inner sanctum) but I'm not going to bet my house on it (refer recent pretty much guaranteed re-signing of Grigg supposedly confirmed by Greg Swan himself; oops) and I'm not going to call bullshit because I most likely wouldn't have a clue whether its true or not.

It would be lovely if we could all be poilte to one another all the time but thats just not realistic is it. solution is take it on the chin and say nothing or fight back and expect the consequences.

Realistic I think. With the compo pick gone, the Crows have little choice. Anyway, they shouldn't complain. Jacobs could become a gun ruck, and who knows how good Tambling could become away from the Richmond Development Hell-Hole.

For someone who claims to have been reading this board for a few years, you obvioulsy have no idea in regards to regular posters on this board.

Firstly, I am a regular poster on this board & my join date is 2004 & I have every right to be here !!!!!!!!

Secondly, I am a Carlton member/supporter & happen to be female & have been supporting the Blues for a very very very long time.

If you haven't noticed, several posters on this board have changed their team support to St Kilda for obvious reasons.

You first posted on the 10th September & have had very negative responses in the majority of your posts.

What does that tell you ???????????

Look, the first post about using vital picks was an error, I am angry about Jacobs and really annoyed that we went after Warrnock using picks (irrelevant what they were ok ) I got it the wrong way around and i tried to rectify it but i didnt know how to delete it (I have said that I'm new to blogging but have read alot) We already had Jacobs and had put alot of time into him, I've watched him play and saw something very special in him and could not for the life of me understand why he was not given game time last year.

I know you've been posting for years ok, I did'nt realise the St kilda thing because I have been so focused on what is going on at the club. You were one of the first to reply to my post in a manner that is designed to make new posters feel unwelcome. How about you look up etiquette. So what if i said maybe you feel threatened, you've attacked everthing that i have said so thats how it looks to me, it's my opinion. Ok for you to slag everyone.
If anyone was trying to say on this sight (who claims it to be fact not rumour) that there is a serious problem going on at the Blues, like players asking to be traded even though we finished in the top 8. Your reaction is Who Cares!! Im a Blues long term member and I care, this is an outrageous and embarrassing situation for the club but YOU who claim to be passionate DONT CARE.
If there are "well know people" who have contacts in the blues ranks who are well known on this sight then why have they not told the truth?

OK Lets clear some things up:

1) You think Walker hasn't got what it takes at AFL level - BUT you're furious he is one of the 4 players wanting to leave.

2) You havn't spoken very highly of Grigg - BUT you're furious that he wants to leave.

3) Just about EVERY post of yours has ended with ps Ratten is a liar and lots of senior players are unhappy with him - FACT. If you want to be respected on here you list your source of information and explain it. WHICH senior players are unhappy with him and WHY? Also explain what Ratten has LIED about.

Grigg comes to mind in the last few days .

In all honesty, despite the grandstanding by both club's supporters, we are in a precarious position. The AFL are trying to ensure players get to the club they want. This can sometimes leave the club they are leaving high and dry. Examples would be Warnock (freo wanted much better and rightly so), and Luke Ball last year.

Unless Michael Voss (Fev) moves to Adelaide quickly, we could end up on the wrong side of this deal.

Some people have even quoted Jacobs being a great bloke and ensuring Carlton will be rewarded for their time. This would only be his preferred option...if it couldnt be achieved, he would just move for whatever. Jacobs could easily remember Ratten/Sticks saying in the media earlier in the year that we could trade one ruckman if required...he could then think about their loyalty on those comments given he was the one most likely to be moved on. Comments like those could erode any sense of loyalty. I know they would erode mine!

Would you agree that out of the 3 players, Jacobs and Tambling are most likely headed your way? Walker seems highly unlikely IMO, especially with the Grigg situation, and the likely high trade cost.

Seems Tambling is almost certain, and he'll be taking the pick that other crows supporters said was being used on Jacobs. So the obvious question now, is have the crows already agreed to pick 14 for Jacobs given the Tambling situation. Or are you now suggesting the Crows will only trade an even lower pick than the compo pick?

Today's development was very interesting because the options for trading from the Crows point of view got smaller, and seem to be in alignment with our request. If you land Jacobs with pick 14, you should not be disappointed. He'll have an impact from day 1.

Anything is possible if we're dealing with Matt Rendell.

Rendell allegedly rated Davis at pick two in the 2008 draft.

Also believed he could get Todd Viney's son by trading with GWS.

Biggest shit spinner since Sheedy said Ryder was rated at one and Neagle was a first round pick in that draft.

Welcome, You've joined at the right time!

Realistically, we probably are 2-3 years away from it. VERY hard to be premiership contenders with average defence. We need to draft a couple of KPD players that we can develop over the next couple of years so that when our midfielders and rucks hit their prime, we will have solid a forward and back line as well.

Jacobs should definitely get us pick 14 and as I've been saying all week, this is a compensated draft and pick 14 this year is the equivalent of a mid 20's pick from the previous years. The Crowbots just wanna get a good player without giving anything up for it. They will soon find out that it doesn't work that way when dealing with Swanny.

I hope thats what Rats meant, but highly doubt it. I think he's more likely coveting a player like Brennan based on a couple of good games against us. Also wouldn't be surprised to here Drummonds name during trade week. If he's actually thinking 'we don't have the talent thru our 22 to go all the way, lets go with picks' then zieg heil Brett Ratten. I'm not as confident as others about pick 14, but lets wait and see.

I said on a different thread that i thought Marcus Davies would be a bigger, stronger, cleaner HB/MF then Grigg and that Yarren would be a faster, smarter, cleaner player then Walker when played on a wing and i think Carlton lead by Swan are heading in the right direction developing the strongest list possible. Everyone screamed when we took more midfield players last year, now we are trading 2 MF to fill holes, smart move i say as sugar kane lucas will be a better player then any that have asked to be traded this week.
