sellar has really only started to put it all together in the last year or so
What on Earth has he done to make you think that?

He was injured most of this year and yeah he would be a speculative trade but so is jacob's right? I'm just saying 2-3 yrs ago most supporters thought that hes got no chance, but now you look at him and think he understands what it takes and many people were expecting a breakout year this season but then he got injured. He'd be a much better get than symes who is not going to improve.Beg to differ, 2010 stats don't lie.
Sellar may turn out to be a good player, but this would be a speculative trade at best.
Gee, who to listen to, an illiterate buffoon like THE_GUN or a guy with a great track record like Brizzy Blue?

play the ball mate , not the man.

Please tell me how Jacobs is speculative when he's had multiple solid performances at AFL level and has better stats than Maric (i.e. your number one ruckman) despite being a backup ruck?
Have asked the same of many Crows supporters but silence and deflection is the only reply I've gotten thus far.
Jacobs is definitely not a speculative trade - Craig knows it and so does Rendell who knows a good ruckman when he sees one.He was injured most of this year and yeah he would be a speculative trade but so is jacob's right? Well hes not a proven player hes still a talent. If hes a proven player then you should be getting a 1st round pick but i doubt he is, i've only seen him play against an injured mumford when he did quite well but thats only one game.

adelaide's compo pick will be around pick 20-26 theres no way in the world you could let him go into the psd just to go up 6-10 places. you know that crowas know that & jacobs knows that. it will get done & its a fair result

Not quite. We have the PSD card up our sleaves, so we'll at least be able to force a low 20's type pick situation since the Crows have no hope of getting him via the PSD.
The clubs just confirmed jacob's wants a trade to Adelaide, what do you think we should demand in return. Good luck to sammy as well i suppose it was inevitable, but it is sad to loose him.

General consensus is that Carlton posters are very disappointed to lose Jacobs whereas it seems that Adelaide posters are not unhappy to see Sellars go - which is probably an indicator of the relative value of both players.Well hes not a proven player hes still a talent. have heard a rumour that we are keen on sellar which made me sick tbh i would love for us to nick Talia which may have been made easier wuth the emergance of phil davis. second for mine would be mckernan (how ever you spell it) both these deals would possibly have to be sweatened but those should be our prime targets
