Also making the move from Moorabbin to the NEC Hangar is Vogt, who played 17 games since making her debut for St Kilda in round one of the 2021 season.

Over her two seasons at AFLW level, Vogt’s football smarts, aerial ability and versatility have made her a key target in the Saints’ forward line and midfield.

Originally a defender for Melbourne Victory in the W-League, Vogt transitioned to footy when she joined the Southern Saints for their first VFLW season before being drafted by the Saints’ AFLW team.

Apparently she’s getting married this weekend so I guess she won’t be playing!

Her fiancée is called Harrison according to Bonnie Toogood on the club podcast, but a bit of light stalking on instagram wasn’t very helpful, so I guess we don’t get to find out what her name change might be (if she does change it) until and whenever she does? 🤷‍♀️

None of the teammates invited to the wedding but they’re apparently planning a fake wedding after the season is done so they can celebrate with her 😝

Up for her 25th AFLW game this weekend 😁

Grew up playing soccer owing to her European background and the availability of womens pathways. Comes from Traralgon so she'd get up at 7.30 each morning to take the bus to school in Warragul, then after school her dad would drive her into Melbourne for training, get home at 11pm and then do it all again, 5 days per week. That's dedication!

Made it to Melbourne Victory and Young Matildas along with all the current Matildas, but the dream ended with an ACL injury and no further contract.

Took up footy and played two seasons of VFLW before getting her chance in the AFLW, for the team she grew up supporting - St Kilda. Then came here with Cat Phillips which she says has been a good change - though not sure what the reasoning is exactly. And now she's in the leadership group and about to play her 25th game!

calf injury, 2 weeks
Listed as 2 weeks away with a calf injury... I seem to have missed the part where she got injured, but it explains why she's featuring on the WARF commentary today with CrowdedHouse

She was a late withdrawal from a game. Maybe did something in a warm-up or in a final training session?
