You can't say that as a definitive statement. For all you know he could kick 60 goals a year.
No, but a prospective club will do exactly that. They will predict his output when:

- There are not five elite midfielders delivering the ball

- There are not two elite small forwards applying forward line pressure

You can't credibly predict his output will rise. I can credibly predict it will fall.

For a player that hasn't played in two years, I don't think so.
Guess what? It doesn't matter what you think is fair. You're not getting him for anything less, not a chance in hell, not in a million years sunshine.

You mean you hope two first rounders is the bare minimum
Stay delusional. You're not getting him for anything less.

Mark LeCras kicked 63 goals in a team that won the wooden spoon and 45 in a team that made the GF.
Mark Williams kicked 63 goals in a team that came 2nd last and 46 in a team that won the flag.
St Kilda made the GF in 2009 and 2010. They were Stephen Milne's 8th and 3rd best seasons for goals kicked.

LeCras and Williams are the best examples, I just threw Milney in for good measure.

On Bruest I've always been the party of Bruest and our first for O'Meara and 9. Then maybe adding the second round pick we get for hill.

too much of a risk, the people saying that the hawks know they can get him better and are 100% confident.

NOTHING IS EVER 100%

Yeah but its also Hawthorns choice whether to accept him or not.
Just like St Kilda and North said they werent in the race anymore.
Its obviously Hawthorns choice to make him their highest paid on their list.

You think Breust is worth more than O'Meara?

at the present moment. on present and future you could say even.
but who knows. may get fit but never get to 60% of form. high risk, no one has ever come back the same from his injury? and its a very rare one to happen as which doesn't help.
Pretty much Bruest is pick 9.
O'Meara 14 and 21. (Maybe chuck in a steak knife.)

What picks to GWS have? Heard some talk that they make have another crack at Breust with WHE likely to leave and Johnson still not 100% playing on

Doesn't make sense does it, especially when Hawks have supposedly offered O'meara a lot more money than they'd ever pay Bruest.
Did you get this from Wayne Carey?

Makes far more sense than any of the other Breust talk. Him with Cameron and Patton or Lobb (Im assuming one will go) would be a potent forward line. Especially with Green as the other small / mid.

if they are still willing to do last years trade.
8 and 16 seem fair :)

Then GCS can get 14 and 16 for O'Meara
Swans get our Future 1st for Mitchell.
Get TV for free.

Still left with 8, 21 (hill trade) and 32 :)

You think you're paying O'meara less than the 700k GC offered? Also, are you paying Bruest 700k? Use some common sense champ.
If he wants to come to Melbourne it doesnt really matter what GCS have offered. He can earn another $100k on the Footy show easily.

Do you think Collingwood are luring players with salary cap? Or do you think Ed lines up Footy Show contracts for them? Cloke was apparently on $1m over 5 years with Channel 9. Not bad for a guy who goes on the Footy Show 3 times a year.

Outside of Ambassador money, Queensland players get nothing. And GCS give all their Ambassador money to GAJ.

I dont know if it all goes to GAJ, but given the money he is on he is taking a huge chunk of change.

His first couple of years he was earning $2m a year. No way he was taking 20% of the cap just for himself, when you also had Hunt on crazy money - plus all the highly paid free agents GCS was throwing money at.

Yeah I remember a lot of the money going to Hunt early on as well as Gazza, I know Saad and Nicholls get a bit at the moment too of the multicultural money.

Mate my common sence is I have no F@#king idea. Did you think that maybe with O'Meara its more about getting to a club he thinks can get him back to playing at 100% and not so much about the money and with Breust if he went to another club he would be getting up there with money, prob not that high up but I wouldn't have thought it would be to far off

So you want to trade in a better player AND an earlier pick for a lesser player and a later picko_O
