Should they just play him in 4 weeks regardless of where he is at with the injury because Clarkson made a statement 3 weeks earlier about him being back soon, you think?
Yes, that's what I said.

You asked for a statement, calling another poster a liar for not producing one in the meantime, then get shirty because one was produced.

Any way. I wish JoM all the best of health forward.

And that statement never came.

You've provided another comment from weeks later.

So to recap he was building towards a return after the bye
As he approached his return date and ramped up training the pain came back
He got another scan when rest didn't work
The scan showed a stress reaction in his knee cap

The program to return him to match fitness changed and the timeline was pushed out

Now Clarko is again talking about possible breturn dates which he wouldn't do if it looked like they weren't making significant progress.

It's just a matter of whether he continues to ramp up without pain now to the point where he can play.

I think what Abasi is saying is that there have been no clear statements from the club suggesting he was coming back after the bye ie statements from a press conference etc

And do you think Clarko or anyone else ever got asked about it...?

Think....

(the answer is all the f**king time)

So everyone just got confused? The HUN, AFL.com, the Hawthorn board?

Lol why do so many non Hawk people give a shit? Thanks for your concerns.

It is the Love/Hate dialectic. They Hate us to the exact degree that they yearn and crush over our success.

Thus JOM's knee becomes a fixation, a fetish.

This bigfooty thread is the modern day equivalent of grown men in raincoats in the bushes watching what they will never......(finish the sentence as you wish).

Thanks smasha.

And that word doesn't mean what you think it does

O'Meara himself also said he was in a 4 week training block, that ended at bye weekend, under the headline "O'Meara to return after bye".
Omg you aren't one of those people who think the headlines are written by the people the article is talking about? Please tell me you don't watch A Current Affair.

No but I in turn hope you're not one of those people that think unless something is quoted verbatim and sourced that it's made up

Thanks smasha.

I looked up "smasha" but it didnt appear in my dictionary.

But dialectic means many things, including:

"the juxtaposition or interaction of conflicting ideas, forces, etc".

as in a love/hate dialectic, constituting a dialectical truth of two opposites in which the truth of one component is dependent or only reveal in conjunction with its opposite.

I chose to do a degree in Philosophy at Uni. At last it has paid off.
