Lol Mitchell and Lewis leaving was putting us one step closer to our next flag, much like when you engineered our Burgoyne trade by taking Williams and giving up pick 16 to Port which could have got you Fyfe.

Lol, We still had pick 10 that draft but ****ed it by picking Melksham.

The pick 16 was all part of the Williams/Port/Lovett trade and we ended up with Carlisle from it, could have been much worse. Like swapping 2 years of picks for for a bloke with shares in body tape

Actually most of us don't care - considering who we've been able to land this year in the trade period with picks we wouldn't have had if we gave them up for Jaegar who has yet to prove he is capable of playing out a season of footy.

Jaegar the way he was at Gold Coast at the start of his career - that Jaegar may have won multiple brownlows. The one the Hawks have after missing the better part of 3 years of footy will be lucky to make a single AA.

You wouldn't find a single Essendon fan willing to trade McGrath for O'Meara.
