Jaeger O'Meara

Those posters always produce the most fun.

You know, the "I know Jaegers hairdressers uncles best mate and as a result what I say is right" type.
Oh it was a question. Yeah - there are some. But at the end of the day it is the physios/drs etc who are the most useful on this topic. It is not a very standard injury and there a few people who misunderstand what the injury actually is - including me

I wonder who the top opposition poster is on the hawthorn Jaegar thread?

Your mate H2F has said we should trust the club. (Your friendship with him must be based on things other than football I can only assume:p)
well, H2F is a fine footy mind with a great track record so who am I to contradict him ;)

hmmm I'm not that impressed. The equivalent thread on the Hawthorn board is far more impressive. There is a gold medal winning performance I believe from a particular poster. getting close to 250 posts by now

LEGEND
You can tell he's a lawyer though.

Question: I noticed this buried away in an article about Ty Vickery, pertaining to JOM:

“He is back training and we anticipate he is going to do a rehab block over the three or four weeks and get himself back into the side,” Clarkson said.

Yet I recall this from June 21:

"I have had a little bit of a hiccup. But we know what it is now, and I am doing a solid block of training and I am looking to play some footy towards the back end of the year," O'Meara said.

So, is Clarkson referring to the training block O'Meara spoke about 2 weeks ago? And what the heck is a "rehab block" and how is it different to a "training block"? I would have thought any training block you are doing in lieu of playing would be a rehab block of some kind? I must admit, I haven't heard much about "blocks" previously and there's been so many different ones for O'Meara this year (for eg, the training block he was apparently doing up to the bye) it gets a bit confusing.

In any case, this is good news yes? It suggests a return date of around Round 19 or 20, for a few games before the season ends if I'm reading it correctly?

The problem is they get him up to 90% workload and he gets soreness. So they have to start again.

Very similar to Stratton. Thought he was ready to play but wakes up to a sore swollen knee.

If we arent playing finals they may not risk him or Rioli or Birchall.

If we are with a chance, who knows...

they must be confident of getting on top of that 90% issue by now though surely, or they wouldn't be confidently nominating when he'll return?

Theyve been confidently nominating return dates all year.

But until they say his knee is at 100% I wont be holding my breath.

fair enough. But some posters would swear black and blue they haven't nominated dates. For example, apparently the club never implied he'd be back the round after the bye but that was certainly the impression everyone had
