Lol why do so many non Hawk people give a shit? Thanks for your concerns.
Because it is the Socratic method! Can someone tell me why I keep posting questions?
Yeah not very spectacular but. If he never played again mabesI wouldn't have but for the fact Hawthorn fans en masse boasted that this was another master stroke by Clarko and that it would ensure the beginning of another period of Premiership success for the Hawks.
Well things have not gone according to plan and it looks like instead of being a master stroke it was hubris of the highest order that led Clarko to believe recruiting JOM was a good idea. I think it's fair that non-Hawthorn supporters should be allowed to comment on something that has backfired in this spectacular manner.

En masse? Lol, we have 70k members and several hundred thousand supporters but you think a few flogs on Bigfooty is en masse?I wouldn't have but for the fact Hawthorn fans en masse boasted that this was another master stroke by Clarko and that it would ensure the beginning of another period of Premiership success for the Hawks.

So many on Bigfooty, that's not en masse, otherwise I would have said en masse. This is what people on here don't understand, Bigfooty makes up less than 1 percent of football supporters. You're the one concerned about a few non-Hawk flogs on Bigfooty (referring to it as 'so many') so en masse is fair.

Translation: I so so hope that O'Meara doesn't work out for the Hawks, and I badly badly hope that the Hawks don't bob up and start winning mulltiple flags again, because the relentless success they have had over the last 50 years eats me up inside.I wouldn't have but for the fact Hawthorn fans en masse boasted that this was another master stroke by Clarko and that it would ensure the beginning of another period of Premiership success for the Hawks.

Yes it's a gamble, a big gamble, but that's 3 Cats people that have responded now out of 4 responses. Some people hate the Hawks, that's why so many on here give a shit.Because it is a very big gamble. Same way people talked about Tom Boyd, Buddy at Sydney, Tippet etc.
And now we have a situation where the messaging from Hawthorn seems inconsistent and therefore there is speculation.
And as to why people are interested you do realise this is a football forum right?
Does that include tasmania and pets as well in the 70 odd k ?
Hegel would be rolling over in his grave reading that tripeI looked up "smasha" but it didnt appear in my dictionary.
But dialectic means many things, including:
"the juxtaposition or interaction of conflicting ideas, forces, etc".
as in a love/hate dialectic, constituting a dialectical truth of two opposites in which the truth of one component is dependent or only reveal in conjunction with its opposite.
I chose to do a degree in Philosophy at Uni. At last it has paid off.

You mean supporters of teams that have recently been beaten in finals by ABC ask what's XYZ about, whilst supporters of JKL and MNO and PQR and STU and VWX who haven't been beaten by ABC in finals don't really take such an interest in XYZ.Classic BigFooty.
Team ABC does XYZ.
'What's XYZ all about?'
'You just hate ABC'
Cool.

They didn't even expect him to play the first few months ffs, he wasn't expected to fire a shot this year! Comments like yours are so ill informed and bitter. It was a long term project, ease him back into footy and hopefully he turns into a gun in the next year or so. Judge it after a few years.Yawn this has been done to death in this thread - "You hate Hawthorn, you are jealous, wishing ill fortune on a kid, everyone so mean wah wah".
It was the biggest trade last year and he hasnt fired a shot, so people talk about it.

https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/amazing-coincidences-in-football.1075150/I'm sure the interest of so many supporters of two particular clubs is completely and utterly genuine and sincere, guys.
Or coincidental.
O'Rourke Awakens!! More questions please.

And why 3 out of 4 Cats responses? Do you know what the odds of that are?
