Nah he's just ordinary

How could anyone really know? Players need continuous game time to develop, and he's never had it, not in the seconds, and certainly not in the firsts.

EDIT: To add more details , the most number of uninjured senior games the kid has played in a row is 5 . He played 6 in a row at GWS, getting injured in the first quarter at the start of the 6th, that was back in 2014. He'd managed to string together a couple of 20 and 21 possession games before that injury, and had picked up 5 possessions in about 15 minutes of footy before the injury struck. Even breaking into the midfield group at GWS was an accomplishment given their talent in that area. Suspect he has the talent, but very likely never to realise it due to dodgy hamstrings. Has only managed another 9 games in total after that run of 6 with more injury problems (I think continued hamstring issues?), and never getting more than 3 or 4 in a row. Deserves time to try to rectify whatever is causing the hamstring pings IMO.

Lol, hobble off with a sore knee and you get 100 page threads, but have a good come back game and it's crickets.
Im assuming most people on here dont watch the vfl or really care about it unless its their team tbh

Nah he's just ordinary

Too alarmin' now to talk about
Take your pictures down and shake it out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud
Use that evidence, race it around

There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
He's ordinary

Don't the best of them bleed it out
While the rest of them peter out?

It was a come back in the magoos, outside of Hawthorn and Essendon die hards not many would have seen it. This thread, which is only 30 pages, and others took months to get to the size they are, there will obviously be more traffic once he makes a senior come back. The lol here is the indignation.

The most annoying thing about it is that if O'Meara does come back and play good footy we'll never hear the end of how the super Hawthorn medicos fixed him.

Because it will be true. Which begs the question "why would you be annoyed by that"?

Good return for Jaeger and well managed by the hawks.
Seemed to move freely and read the play well.

would be wise for the hawks not to bring him back to AFL this year and let him play VFL level to get his confidence in his body up and gear him up for a good preseason.

No the most annoying thing will be how once again the Hawks screwed a club to get a player and how much free agency has benefited the Hawks

How is O'Rourke going?
You can't even understand basic English. Asked why you would be annoyed, and you reply with: "How's O'Rourke going?"

Simpleton. Just because Hawthorn Medicos can help one person get back playing AFL football and not another, doesn't mean they shouldn't get the plaudits for it. You're an idiot.

Main thing is how he pulls up from it smart thing giving him a bunch of games in the vfl
It sounds like that is the plan, to finish with 4-6 VFL games
