Jaeger O'Meara is actually a part descendant of German and Irish kings. He has a wedding to attend this weekend.

Would you be surprised if he turned out to be a prince?

Just reckon the Hawks could do with a Jed Anderson in their midfield right now rather than a Jaeger...

..discuss....
How does replacing one injury prone player with another do anything for the Hawks? Anderson also chose to be traded

Plenty of Hawks were **** a hoop over the Anderson deal. Many taunted North fans on this one and carried on like arrogant flogs about yet another genius hawks trade.

Is Anderson injury prone? He had an extremly rare illness.

Anderson isn’t that good and wouldn’t get a game at the Hawks right now. Hawthorn can just go and get Andrew Gaff with the millions of free cap space to add another A-grade midfielder. Problem solved. :)

well yes it is early days for Jed's renaissance, too early for the Hawks to admit any regret, but his tackling and contested work in recent weeks has been an important part of the puzzle for North.

He's had a lot of issues with his shoulder and hamstrings. He is definitely injury prone.

When his body is right he is a fine player.

Not withstanding a statistical outlier in 35yo Burgoyne, this does nothing to prove that JOM is anything other than within average age range.

You can create your own personal definitions of young or old if you want. Mine are fairly objective.
You can’t have an ‘average’ age ‘range’ when looking at 1 set of data. The average is the average and a range is a range of ages. It’s like when people say “between 80 to 90+”
If you looked at averages of each club you could then have an “average age range”

To be fair i don't think it matters how good he becomes, we still won't regret it because he wanted out for opportunity. We just couldn't give it to him at the time due to how strong our team was. I hope it all turns out well for him because he was a very popular player, but we got a very good player (who is in a form slump) out of it and he got the chance at another club. Could be a trade that ends well for both clubs, but we still need to see if his body can hold up long term.
