Sorry you’re so angry about a game. Hope you feel better.

Oh I see. So you've given up on Burton being better than McGrath and now desperately hoping your high price once in a generation big fish one day ends up more than 2 touches a game better than a guy 5 years younger than him.

That Hawthorn hubris really has disappeared

That 2012 first round really has proven to be a stinker:

O'Rourke, Plowman (pick 3), Toumpass, Menzel, Jaksch, Lonergan, Garner, Simpson, Kennedy, Hrovat, Towers, Paparone have all performed, or various reasosn, below expectation
Absolute stinker for the eagles we got Wellingham (pies got grundy with that pick), Brent Collage, Adam Carter and promoted **** brad dick. And Hutchings who is the only one on the list still but nothing more then a fringe/depth player

This is his best year, not sure what you are on about.
Nah. stats-wise yes but stats don’t always tell the true story. He’s currently like an mid-range Audi racking up the KMs. In his first couple of years he burst out like a Ferrari and was sensational to watch. Not the player he was....yet.

This is his best year, not sure what you are on about.

Roughly on par with his first and second years of football, and when I written that post you quoted - statistically O'Meara wasn't having his best year. He has had a good 3 weeks, and his 2018 statistics compare similar to his 2013/14 years. So in the space of 6 years (statistically) he hasn't improved, or has improved only very very slightly. Statistics aside though, he doesn't look like the same player he was in 2014. The eyes don't lie. You can rave on about O'Meara to the cows come home, but IMO he simply isn't much chop. Straight up and down, no special effects.

Then it must be about McGrath this week - JOM didn’t have the best game on the weekend

PS: how did Ooh Ahh go?

Quite well.

JOM still only a short way back from injury. I expect if he keep fit he will build over the next few years.

Might not ever hit the top top level some thought, but a good player if he stays fit.

Very close to an All-Australian squad now in my opinion. Excellent come back by O'Meara and particularly the staff at the Hawks who've allowed him to grow and regain his confidence without pressure from within.
He's a long way from AA, this year has been a massive step forward for him but he has a ways to go
