I mentioned that I'd have him close to my All-Australian squad a few weeks ago and got shouted down for it. I definitely have him in the 40 now. His second half of the season has been excellent. An incredibly clean user of the ball. He's added an enormous amount to the Hawks side and I'd be surprised if he wasn't an All-Australian next year. Fantastic player.

McGrath is a gun, that much is obvious. Burton is also a gun, that much is obvious too. But he has had two good games in a row now, and is hopefully (finally) building into the season, albeit better late than never. Neither have been as impressive as last season so let's leave it at that.

Take this rubbish elsewhere otherwise the cycle will just repeat itself and yet another thread will get ruined.

Just to bring this back to the OP.

Its good to see that Jaeger is getting back to some good, consistent footy. His body seems to be tolerating the rigours of AFL but I don't think he's back just yet. Well on the way though!

The medical team at the Hawks seem to be doing a great job of helping him manage his old issue. I'd imagine as the preseasons stack up he'll create a bigger and bigger buffer against it.

Heard somewhere hes only doing ~70% training loads - which isnt too abnormal for this time of the year.

His speed, agility, movement etc are all there atm which is great to see.
