Then there's Gold Coast who managed to finish bottom of the ladder with a bulging salary cap. But they did also bring in a rugby convert who managed to convince said overpaid players to spend their soft earned money on coke. So it's not all bad.

It sucks that a) we couldn't keep him and try and turn him into the jet he has the potential to be, and b) some dickhead in our list management decided to (reportedly) throw him onto $500k a year.
What a disaster.
If you wanted salary cap relief, then the $7m man was the one to give away...
