Funny nought times in the best players but got a NEAFL Rising Star nomination.

His output just didn’t improve enough for mine from when he played NEAFL as a non listed player (previous 3 years), this despite having more on and off field opportunity.

Had the opportunity to step up when the likes of Robinson were in seniors but just didn’t take the opportunities.

Just from my memory I thought Jake had purple patch of 4 or 5 games in a row on mid 20's disposals and 1 game with 9 or 11 clearances. Also not always in the mids.

He had a patch where he got 22/23, and I do remember the clearance game you remember.

He had some solid games, but he never really looked a step above out there to me.

I think his stats has shown that he has had some very good games for a rookie in his 1st year particularly Clearances and Tackles. * Injured in R5 & GF, (I think)

I thought Jake was going well, improving and working very hard. I thought he would get another year at least. I guess they thought he didn’t have the football talent to get to the highest level, as he certainly has the physical talent.
I would have rated him above some of the other rookies including bell, stoddart and ling.
I think he should go down to the vfl and keep going as i think he can get there.

Yes but maybe SANFL or WAFL.

Stoddart and Ling aren’t Rookies.
