We will have the announcement Thursday that Jake has asked to be traded to Western Bulldogs.

Bombers want pick 11 and 30
Bulldogs want to give pick 30 and Talia

Carlton only offering 3 year deal
St Kilda want to use second round pick only and a player? 5 year deal
Bulldogs offered 4 year deal with the promise of CHB position a lock by the coach..

This is not a rumor and I would rather my club went for Tomlinson GWS
Pick 30 and Talia = he won't be going to Bulldogs.

Think the big thing everyone is forgetting is that some Clubs cant attract player at all I think there are 9 clubs people players want to go to are.
1.Hawthorn(everyone goes there :) )
2.Geelong(country feeling)
3.North Melbourne (gives players from the outside first crack)
4.Gold Coast(rock star feeling)
5.Melbourne(easy money and know you will get a game )
6.Gold Coast (they pay big and the weather is amazing)
7.Dogs (finals for the next 6 years and if there paying Boyd that much well :) )
8.Collingwood ( at least you play in front of big crowds :) )
9.St Kilda (they at least get to sing the best song and great social life)

I'll ask you a question then fella.... Which actual trades in the last 5 years make EFC so hard to deal with?
Stewart Crameri.

Dogs offered #26, Dodo demanded a first round pick, stalemate for 3 weeks. Then traded for... pick 26.
Stalled the trade period for a few other clubs, too.

Why not Talia and #30?

Every bit as good as the offer for Scott West.

I heard that we're offering Ricky Dyson + our 3rd for Macrae.

Incorrect.

Making up stuff to perpetuate the myth. Yes, Essendon asked for more than 26, but didn't ask for the first pick.

Which trades did it stall also? The only deals either club had after were for Gumbleton and Chapman for Essendon and Darley for the Dogs.

Dodoro held up Darley for pick 78? Sure mate.

If Dodoro accepts that trade I want him out of my football club sick of him beating his chest only to bend over on the last day.
Seems some people think it's not a myth.....

He's trying to say that Dodoro holding up deals and demanding ridiculous shit shouldn't bother anyone, by stating that it didn't hold up any deals (although how we could know that this didn't hold up deals ever is beyond me).

We have one demonstrable fact. He holds up deals, asks for ridiculous shit that is insulting to the intelligence of those he deals with, and many people in the industry think he is hard to deal with as a result.

We know this. Anything else is speculation.

Why did he wait on the Crameri deal rather than just accepting what was obviously the right deal in the first place?

If you don't believe me do an analysis of his public statements over the past several years. Utter ******* bullshit, that always ends in him caving.

Which of the Gumby to Freo or Darley to Dogs deal did the Crameri deal hold up?

Dordoro will huff and puff and get rid of another good player for less than he is worth. Clubs have long memories of having to deal with essendon. They now get no favours and rightly so.

What kind of idiocy is that? Which of the deals that were actually made did he hold up?

He slowed down list managers by not letting them know what overall list currency they had. It doesn't require a specific deal for this to be a problem that pisses them off.

It does irritate people. That is well reported. This is the reason Essendon are difficult to deal with.

End of story.

"Ridiculous shit". Okay, like what?

Asking for more than pick 17 for Ryder? Which we got?

Asking for more than pick 26 for Crameri? Which didn't eventuate, but given the amount WB are paying him, isn't ridiculous? I fail to see which deal it supposedly "held up" considering the WB made two trades that period, the other with a pick 50 places after the one Essendon received.

Also, before you trot out the "Wingard/Wines" crap, if they were open to coming to Essendon the deal would have likely been Ryder and 20 for Wingard/Wines and maybe 37.

Obviously the Darley deal. I mean, it doesn't matter that the Dogs got him for pick 78, Dodoro held it up.
