No, it's not. What you said was incorrect.
yawn, what I said was correct in terms of the mediation, to clarify for those of a semantic nature, the initial offer with the mediator in place was 17 & 37. Just for you 17 & 37 was not Port's very first offer waaay before mediation, so now that has been cleared up.....

...when the mediator was brought in the offer was 17 & 37, when the deal was done it was 17 & 37.

Personal opinion is it will get done at a price somewhere between pick 10 and the Paddy Ryder deal. To whom, I have no idea.
If he does nominate St Kilda, well, pick 5 is very good currency to work a deal around.

IMHO, it'll definitely be involved.
5 internet points for closest to the pin.

I've been trying to figure out how to get those five guys to St Kilda. Cheers, you've cracked it.

That link doesn't prove your point.

From memory, we had already agreed to a deal that the AFL had knocked on the head. Also, Paddy was contracted, so we had every right to refuse to trade him (see the bit about Gold Coast in the article).

Adam White on 927 breakfast show saying Carlisle prefers Carlton or Dogs. Says Dangerfield deal throws spanner in the works as Cats pick one was to go for Henderson then passed on for Carlisle.

I still lol @ Carlisle not being worth pick 5, He's worth that easily. I'd still take between 10-15 though just to get the shit done.

Tell me saint fans where are you gonna find a bloke who is ready made and can play on the big forwards in the comp in 2016? Because you won't find him at pick 5.

So why wouldn't they offer more $ then anybody else?
Clubs will pay what they think a player is worth - some clubs value players differently based on how well they'd fit into their gameplan, list deficiencies, etc etc

Look at Dangerfield - Geelong will pay $800k per season, Melbourne far more - yet he's no guarantee to just got o the highest bidder.

Would prefer Matheison as we are desperate for midfielders and he will be an absolute gun!

I like this deal, but i just can't contemplate having a kid called "Ariel" on the squad. Can't he change his name to Brian Lake or Beau Maister or something.

( Pear's impresses me as one of the reasons Essendon supporters give for losing a game for the last 5 years .Example " oh but we had injuries , Pears wasn't playing " )

I like it.

Can't see any flaws with it. DapperJong stop shopping Carlisle around mate we've found the deal for us.

Wait actually hang on maybe we should get Billings chucked in as steak knives?
