If the deal doesn't get done, tell me what will happen. I'll give you a hint, he won't be going back to Essendon. StKilda CAN walk away from negotiations.
Ameet Bains will be running the show i guess.
But you won't walk away... you've both now commited to each other..... it may sound good for you but you won't be walking away lol

LOL, and you have Bellchambers
Bellchambers played poorly when the club ****** up his injury management on his ankle. He kicked 28 goals from 18 games in 2013, whilst averaging 22 hitouts as well. To put it in perspective, Dean Cox never averaged 20+ hitouts and 1.5 goals/game in his career.

pick 5 for carlisle and essendons second rounder which is ontraded to collingwood for freeman. how is this not perfect for all?

He's not worth 5. But 5 is worth Freeman and Carlisle. Collingwood would take our second for freeman. (or if saints really wanted, they could trade their second and keep ours which is 1 selection ahead)

Collingwood win, essendon get an early selection for carlisle and our second (which I'd rate at around pick 6 or so) and saints give up pick 5 for 2 talents. Win win win
Agreed Pick 5 for Carlisle and Freeman is great value

Great you should be able to trade him for 3 first round draft picks.

The deal will get done. Why the hell wouldn't it?

You sound like the Carlton fappers from a couple of weeks ago.

Bellchambers, who has proven he can be a top 5 ruck/fwd in the competition, with 28.11 in 2013 while averaging over 20 hitouts.

You can always tell those who have never watched somebody outside of their own club play.
I wonder if anything happened over the summer of 2012/2013 that helped him have a career best season?

As a neutral I can confidently say that Bellchambers is a horrible ruckman.
There we have it everyone, someone who probably hasn't seen much of him knows he is a horrible ruckman. Clearly he is an authority on the subject and no need to argue your points anymore.

He is a NEUTRAL. Surely couldn't be wrong.

Essendon get deals done. We will again here.

I'm wondering if St Kilda can, because they have a history of not doing so.

Again - who runs this stuff for the Saints?
Just on this about essendon gets deals done - have read and heard comments that suggest Dons are notoriously difficult to deal with. Is this real?

Taking extreme outcomes from the trade negotiations.
1. Essendon refuse to accept a reasonable offer, they want pick 1 and Billings. Saints walk away. Possible outcomes: Carlisle can choose to stay at Essendon or choose to go in the draft with the terms of his employment specified.

2. StKilda refuse to make a reasonable offer, they only offer a straight swap with Shenton. Possible outcomes : Carlisle can choose to stay at Essendon or choose to go in the draft with the terms of his employment specified.

have i missed any possible outcomes here?

Yes, the one that is likely to happen:

St. Kilda and Essendon agree on a deal close to Carlisle's worth. Pick 5
