I would think all the punishments they've had would far outweighs them 'profiting' from a number one draft pick.
The club itself hasn't been penalised this year, the players have. Therefor if the club finishes bottom under what law or rule should they get stripped of the number 1 pick? You want to criticise the AFL but at the same time want them to make up a new rule for this situation?
If they have a mass exodus and finish bottom next year should they be stripped of it again? Where does it stop?
Interesting congative gymnastics!

It stops when the punishment stops, that is when players are returned from the ban. That is when they should be determined to be judged upon their actual performance against the rest of the competition.

I'm a lover, not a fighter
No different to Melbourne getting 3 for Frawley or us getting 13 for BJ.
Except the Dees got it because they sucked naturally. We got it because we were at the bottom of the natural rhythm of the draft. They will have got all that because they cheated. That's Sauce's point. I wholeheartedly agree with him.

They had all their players last year and nearly finished bottom. Maybe they are just no good. Anyway even with the first pick they will be stuffed for years. Players are mentally shot.

Fair enough. I'm not going to shoot you down for your opinion, mine just differs. I'm just over the fact it keeps dragging on and on and feel there is nothing to gain from it doing more so.
The last few years have been the shittest years of footy in my lifetime so I'm keen to move on from it.

The best they have done since their last GF was 5th in 2002.
Not one top four in 15 years. Sounds like you are correct. They are just no good.

Oh dear. I was joking about the Delusional Pearlers thread. But I've gone and had a look and indeed the comments about Hurley training with us have been quoted and posted there. :drunk:

They don't need any posters from other clubs input. They're able to fill that thread with their own thoughts and comments. :drunk::drunk:

Edit: has since been deleted. Dammit!
