Jake Crawford is a powerfully built and supremely fit defender from the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

He has trained with the GC SUNS pretty much since the club’s inception. He was a member of the club’s 2009 TAC Cup squad and played five VFL games for the GC SUNS this year. Crawford represented Queensland at the 2010 National Championships.

Known for his never-say-die competitiveness and ruthless training ethic, Crawford capped off two years of incredibly hard work by earning his first playing contract after being selected as a Rookie at the 2010 Rookie Draft.
