alot to like about how this young fella goes about it. Loves contested footy and has plenty of composure in heavy traffic as he takes on opponents like his back inn the Diamond Valley. with Kingy and Foley in the heat of the action, there's signs of life in this department. Id like to see him awarded a 2 year contract and the No 2 jumper for 2008. Keep up the good work young fella:thumbsu:

Don't count your sheep yet.

He has been good and his best aspects are his could crumbling abilities of the back of packs in the D50 and his pretty good decision making. But he does get a lot loose touches in the back 50 which makes his games look alot better then they are.

Nonetheless he has just kept improving and looks to be one of the main positives out of a bleak season so far

looks to be a natural hard working foortballer, runs into space...with the right attitude he could be around for a while

....and he reads the game as good as anyone in the team, something you cant train or put in someones brain.

Best thing is his decision making. He was ket in our last 3-4 spurts forward against Brisbane. Whilst Tivers, Johnson and others looked like a rabbit in the headlights sometimes, King was willing to hold on to the ball for 2-3 more seconds and make the right option.

I'm really becoming a fan of his. He's played 3-4 solid to very good games in a row.

Even if this was as good as he'll ever be (he'll get a bit better with experience), he would make a fantastic tough back pocket player in a top 4 team.

What more can you ask for? He ticks all the boxes to be a premiership back pocket player. Tough, Smart, Good skills and decision making, composed under pressure, plays tight on his opponent while crumbing packs to set up attacks and goes in hard, pushes forward has shots on goal from 50m, rides the bumps and is a hard trainer, very focused and seems a good character.

May need to show gradual improvement over the year if he wants a place on the list, and at his age he will need to show consistency.

He is the type we should have with the ball off half back, delivering to CHF or around the centre. Reasonable kick, can run, pretty tough.

we have king, thursfield, newman, raines, polak and deledio in our back half and people are complaining we are crap? Looks like an excellent future defence to me

he has been excellent and will only get better with time i think he could develop into a midfield tag role like baker from the saints. jacob also has ayounger brother coming thru who also looks very good will be taller and bigger than jacob about 4 years away one for the future perhaps
