Bull%%# he would, the game was won in the 2H champ when Judd got precious little of it apart from a couple of possies in a minute on the HFF...well out of the votes:eek:

Are you kidding me!?

The umpires wouldve marked him down for votes after the 2 possessions in the first 4 seconds where Timmy Lane and Wallsy blew their load in the commentary box.

Jake King just picked up where he left off last year. The thing that really made a difference with him tonight is that with King playing well with McMahon , Bowden and Newman where allowed to play up the grounds more. Not only did king stop his player but he controlled the play in the back half much like Newman and Bowden did.

What a big heart for a little bloke....
Plays above his size.
Made like an old true Tigerman.

What a gem....

Kept his style of footy and attack even when we were down early.
Never gives in.
Others need to take a leaf out of his book.

Love Kingy.

Single handedly won us the game in that 3rd Quarter with his about 10 effort go, just didn't give up.

His run was fantastic and his grit is what more of our players need to show.

Do they still have that shinboner award? If so, Kingy will win it.

Or was it just created to give to Glenn Archer every year.

Has the ugliest head in football. Needs to cop a beat down.

Who gives a crap what he looks like? It's football. Maybe you should go follow the Miss Universe pagent or something. King showed more grit than the entire Carlton side in that second half. I would love to have him at the Eagles.

What an absolute bloody little champ.
My Fav. Player, not from Geelong.
He needs to Captain the club next year, because he has that never say die attitude,.

got caught out a few times early in the game, but came back strongly to have a good game. shows lots of courage, speed, agility and clean hands.:thumbsu:

Trouble is that like St Kilda's Baker he really skirts the boundary of legality. Nothing wrong with that but unfortunately we can expect Jake to have a few 'holidays' over his career;)

Best part was when Kingy came off in the last minute and made a bee-line at the Carlton player coming onto the field!! Loved it! :thumbsu:

That was symptomatic of the endeavour and passion Kingy has for mine. Game was all but over, he was out on his feet but still trying to run flat out to the bench to effect the interchange, blowing really hard. Then he sees Eddie Betts coming on, making a bee line for the action, King runs ten metres off his line and crashes into him and gives him a few choice words to boot!

Absolutely love this kid. If a few more blokes on our list had his competitive streak we'd be a very, very good side. I bagged him at one stage last year, but I'm very happy to say I was wrong. Very wrong.

Eat em alive Kingy!!! (and he would you know) :thumbsu:

Mr 300 pushups Man is Jakey King and plays like a caged animal just been releashed.

In the last qtr I saw him on the wing run thru (not around) 2 Carltank shephards to chase down the ball carrier...BLOODY AWESOME STUFF:thumbsu:

he may become the new heart of the club never quits made a mistake early cost us a goal but after that like he snapped like crazy man. ran down everything, everyone he could. he is very quick an fit doesn't stop. the toughest guy out there an maybe the smallest. fearless mate!!!

just what we need in the back line he killed betts last night.

side note how good did schulz look down back then went forward 4 abit i think i even saw him on judd for a few mintues. looks alot harder than last year really put his body on the line well done!!

I LOVE KINGY YOU GOD!!!

good point that I noticed also, Newy is now playing his best footy for the tiges roaming that HB-Mid region, and Bowdo is more dangerous in that HB-Midfield role than deep within defence...
