Calder Cannons
194cm
Vic Metro 2013 Captain
Interested to see where Lever falls on draft day after he ruptured his ACL. Troy Menzel certainly hasn't lost any of his agility and speed after his knee injuries. We still had a mancrush on Troy, but other clubs saw it differently and passed for other elite talents. Might be a similar situation for Lever.
There are claims that Lever stands 194 cms and has a larger wingspan than Sam Reid. Reid certainly plays taller than his height (195 cms ?????) with a reach of 205 cms. Might compensate for Lever being approx. an inch shorter than the best defenders who are 196 cms or taller. Jamison is a good spoiler and defender who is around the 194 cm mark.
Jake won’t pull the lever on 2014
Top-end talls face contrasting journeys to the draft
Calder Cannons star Jake Lever still on draft radar despite serious knee injury
Sounds like a mature kid who has captained two teams.
