Yep and there was a study in US that I don't have but appeared widely in our papers saying women were just as bad.

Not sure of the quality of the study but I think a lot do but don't kiss and tell.

FWIW- I'd be open to the idea of an open marriage (with a lot of rules tho).

No boring sex life necessary if one does not want it- and no need for lying or cheating either. :)

I have no idea how it's mathematically possible that between 45 and 60 percent of people cheat yet affairs only affect one in every 2.7 couples?

Anyway, I wouldn't say that you "pulled it out your ass" - that's disrespectful, and besides, this is Australia so at the very least, it's your "arse". But I would be highly sceptical as it doesn't correlate with my expectations, or other figures I have seen quoted before.
Sorry someone els3 said that and half cut.

See the quote sorry. It's fairly unfair of you to say it came out my ass when a quick Google search has plenty of studies in that range.

I can't be stuffed searching more as you can do that.

It's not about the fact that men cheat tho - it's about the impact one bloke who is more passionate about his punting and his 17 year old sluts than his footy has on the playing group. These blokes are together 60 hours a week. Their wives and girlfriend are intertwined. It's never as simple as "he's a bloke don't judge him"

One day I'll go into detail about andrew emily, Ben cousins daniel chick and couple of strippers and the impact that had on a WHOLE club.

This bloke is like Mitch Clark. A cancer. Do. Not. Want

I think a lot more people have open relationships than admit it. I also remember one stat where 80% of partners who caught their partner cheating pretended it didn't happen. As over a long term marriage a blind eye happens every now and again and sometimes there are more important things.

This I agree with - and more to the point, it's about the personal standards that you set for yourself in the way in which you manage your relationships with others.

So it's Ok now to cheat on your partner - who honestly gives a **** about the percentage of idiots that do that ?

All of you Campainers who "think that" should Stop posting and get some help.

Stringer (for various reasons) looks like he's bad news "Stay Away" I say.

Yeh because nobody ever made mistakes in their youth and ever turned it around before. So he likes to root, gamble and has an ego. Not in the minority of AFL footballers i would imagine.
It is in the minority because his partner was pregnant while he was doing it. I still like to gamble, root even at my age, but Jake needs to a bit better than that. Good luck to the cats if they get him, he is still young to turn it around. If Beveridge could not knock any sense to him, I dont know how going to another club will change him.

I would feel waaaay more threatened if my man was having an emotional/mental connection with someone else. Then shit would get messy.

Big deal if he ****s someone like a one night stand, who cares.

Ex hasn't come out talking about his massive gambling and him banging 17 year olds - while she was pregnant. His team mates are off him.
The girls old man (and mum). WTF!

Happy to allow his schoolgirl daughter **** Jakey and be a homewrecker because he's a mad doggies fan.
WOW!

So, in essence, every time a guy cheats a woman does too?

Stats = 50 / 50?
Not technically. Only if you make the assumptions that women who cheat and men who cheat both cheat in about the same amounts, and also that men aren't cheating with men, and women aren't cheating with women.

For example, if eight straight couples live in a street and seven of the blokes "pay a visit" to the eighth woman across the week, then 1/8 women cheat, 7/8 men cheat and 1/8 men is a blind idiot.

No, not technically, but on a broad balance....

But hell, that eighth woman is damn busy

Bang on there. I think it comes down to sex vs love and obviously ensuring it's safe etc.

Also- how am I single. Ffs.

Yes, absolutely- there'd have to be massive trust there first, before anything happened. And rules. And none of these rules could be broken. It is a risk tho, but i guess everyday, walking out the door is a risk really.

Yes, men are idiots. I agree.

Nah it's not ok but I think a lot of people are hypocrites.

I know a number of people who have headed down the ethical nonmonogany path (inner-city, often queer/questioning gen Y types) and the former issue that you raise is the big one - particularly if people, shall we say, combine their bedroom activities.

Most people's relationships with others do change with sex and we struggle to accept that at times.

As I posted in the other thread... positive I can take is that he is young enough to maybe change.
Not to condone any of his actions mind you, but parenthood is a head f**k at the best of times, let alone when you are kid.

JJ in the birthing suite??? I dare say Mrs ex String isn't completely innocent either

Obviously that is pure speculation from me

This just seems a bogan episode of Jerry Springer. No laws have been broken. Just a bloke with too much money and too much temptation. Stories of EPL players banging chicks and gambling are in the Sun every ****ing day. Don't know many that have had a 'do not touch' sign put around their neck.

As long as you put clauses into the contract to protect yourself I don't see the issue.
