Jamar 1 - post 2010 ordinary C minus grade ruckman

Jamar 11 - 2010 Top A+ grade ruckman

Why is this so ??? Huge turnaround - AMAZING !!!!

PS - you guys EASILY have the most exciting young list in AFL. Don't want to put the mockers on you but I can see that long awaited elusive flag no longer a pipe dream.

Good luck to all demons supporters, after all those years in the wilderness you deserve all the riches that may come your way, exciting times, being a Cat supporter I can tell you there's no better feeling.

I think you mean pre 2010 = C-.

We kept him instead of Jolly so they must have seen something no one else could or has seen for the last 5 years.

He is rewarding us this year though.

He was dominating in a couple of matches in the latter half of last year, so it's not like noone saw it coming at all.

Kicked 5 goals against the Blues last year too

I could kick 5 goals against Brett Thornton though.

Why?

Because its his ****ing contract year and to make it worse the Gold Coast are coming in!!!!!!!!!:mad:

If we want to keep him we will be paying through the nose, add to this Ricky Bobby and i think we are bound to lose one of them.

Lets just hope they concentrate their recruiting on Bad Miller. :o

Last year was a "contract" year for Jamar as well. He elected to take a one year deal for 2010. He's backed himself & if his form holds he'll get a decent deal going forward.

He's had contract years before and been absolute pus so your theory is a bit shaky.

We will see.

But i guarantee the Gold Coast chase him, he may get a Shane Mumford deal of a life time and find it too good to turn down.

He owes it to the club to give us his best years of footy. To leave now after finally making the step up to elite status in terms of ruckman would be the wrong thing to do, no matter how lucrative that GC offer is.

the thing is i doubt we could get anything for him in trade week and i think we told him as much hence able to sign him for 1 year. This was always gonna be his make or break year imo

Knackers. He was given a 1 year deal because he had been injured so often and had only just started to show what he could do.

Thanks for replys - seems Jamar has progressively been improving over sometime but injuries have slowed his progress. Now that he is up & running with added strength & confidence he's really is taking the game on & to a new level, huge bonus for club & full credit to him as a player. As far as contract is concerned, club & players only need to refer to Geelong's contract playing list as MODEL. With so many outstanding young & up coming players you have far too much going for you as a club not to keep list together, senior players included. All the best for the future, LOVE your playing style.

" James Frawley the next Matthew Scarlett "
" Liam Jurrah the next whoever or whatever he wants to be - freak "

Hear, hear:thumbsu:. The club's had a lot of faith in him since we traded Jolly. He'll do a Jordie Mckenzie and stay.

(Fingers crossed though)
