Pretty underwhelming? Maybe over the off season you can get in contact with him and organise for you to show him the correct way you’d like him to run his leading patterns. My opinion of him today he played a selfless role while being double teamed who put on a lot of forward pressure and opened up the forward line for his teammates.

100% this. Id say the direction from the coach was to look for other targets inside 50 if he was drawing an extra opponent or had the third man coming in as it was clear watching the game they weren't using him much.
It created a few redundant defenders for the Rangers too which helped Oaklegh's fwds.
10 disp, 7 marks, 6 tackles ( 4 of those inside 50 ) 4 shots on goal. Decent game from a 195cm 17 yr old who doesn't know how to lead, lacks effort and was being ignored by his teammates when going inside 50

One of the biggest errors people fall into is believing, just because you're good at it, you're good at coaching it.

This is particularly the case when Dickson’s technique is all about intuition and a calm approach. What is he going to say as a coach? Just relax?

That doesn’t work with anyone lol

Why quote me twice and respond with two different posts you absolute degenerate?

I wasn't the only one that had the opinion so there is no need to be passive-aggressive weakling.

Brb can't say anything negative about any AFL players because the response would be "Maybe over the off season you can get in contact with him and xxxxxxxxxxx".
Brb can't say anything negative about any one in any field of endeavour because the response would be "maybe over the break you can get in contact with him and xxxxxxx".

This is a board where people can have an opinion on these things you severe idiot so deal with it.

He was double teamed but there were countless times where he was alone and stationary after an intercept + return kick into forward 50. Your opinions blow tbh.
Settle down!

Why do people get so defensive over any minor criticism? He had an average game by his standards and for those who have never seen him player before he didn’t really live up to the top 3 hype he’s been tagged with.

This game wasn’t a great example of how good he can be, although the did show an ability to contribute with repeated efforts when things aren’t going his way.

It's not the opinions that don't sit well, it's the blatantly wrong observations.

You don't have to like rice bubbles, but if you don't like them because they taste like red wine, chances are you'll get called out.

Time to get this thread back on track.
Seems like the mods had the day off today.

Looking forward to seeing how he plays in the curtain raiser on Grand Final day next weekend.

Ok. Let's get this thread back on track. No off topic posting and no personal attacks. Be respectful to each other and especially to Jamarra.

And just remember Tom Boyd, as if we can forget. Pull your heads in.

One element of Jamarra game i love ist that before he is tackled
Puts his arms up straight away
Allows his wingspan to get the ball of the contest
