Has not ruled out North, in saying that, deal will get done with Pies. With Blues showing PSD interest and North making a trade play for him, it is enough pressure to ensure a good enough trade gets done.

No matter what the trade looks like on paper, and i expect it to look unders for Aish, we will essentially get Bell and Bastinac for him, which is a win to me. We can't afford to draft and spend another 2 years on a player, we bring in 2 players who should be best 22 or pushing to be, mature and ready to go. Still plenty of points to get the academy kids, and likely we do a round a bout trade with 17 to Tigers for Astbury (they need 17) and we get a later pick back as well. We still end up with enough points for academy kids.

I think we were only thinking of giving them 17 if it was a 3 way trade with Carlton where we would get Bell now with Collingwood looking into getting us Bell I can't see that happening 17 is too important to us

You know 25 was used on Greenwood. A much better player and third placing in your B and F last year? You value them the same?
Bastinac has 3 Top 10 finishes, not 1.

He's probably worth something similar, he's a 20+ disposal player and has consistently been that since he was drafted, just squeezed out of his prefered position.

You do also realise that there are not quotes in there from Picker$ saying "Aish will ONLY go to Collingwood and NO ONE else because COLLINGWOOD is where he WANTS TO BE ONLY stuff everyone else!"

I wonder if Picker$ is on your payroll?
Nah that was said in last weeks article.. That's old news.

I would be more happy if Collingwood got us Bell and Bastinac for Aish and we keep our own picks would allow us to trade pick 39 to Richmond for Astbury means we would still have 17 and 21 for Keays and Hipwood
Richmond only interested in offloading Astbury if it helps to get us Yarran. 39 wouldn't work.

Collingwood will go close to being trade week's biggest winner if they land Aish, Treloar and Howe.

Geelong obviously still the clubhouse leader.

Cats are picking up three players about 25-26 years old.
They will need to be challenging for another flag in 2016 or 2017.
