No, it means James Aish is months aways from announcing his a decision and Dangerfield is still making his mind up.

The traffic from thoes 2 threads are simply filling in time.
But we haven't settled the sauce debate yet!

News on Aish a couple of days ago on The Rush Hour with Jars and Lewie...is that Aish does want to leave Brisbane and is seriously considering a move to a Melbourne based club. Time will tell. I'm only going by what I have heard, but as we all know... rumours are just rumours. We just have to wait and see.

I cant see it personally him moving to a struggling bottom Melbourne club. Although they will be in the box seat if the Lions play tough and send Aish to the PSD.

ha rush hour? maybe aish will bring clarko with him. andrew jarman and dale lewis are a pair of absolute spuds.

If Aish is homesick why would he go to Melbourne. If he has the opportunity to play in his home town in front of his family and friends and for the team he supported and a new AO, why wouldnt he come here?

If I were a Lions supporter and he left to go anywhere but home, that would be a big kick in the guts. Especially after only serving 2 years there.

If he is tempted by a Melbourne club, it must be a decent sized contract.
MMM had Darren Berry saying he had word on Aish going to Melb on the weekend. This is just these guys rehashing this "info", which is how these rumours gain legs as people hear it from multiple sources but all are following from the 1 source which in this case you'd have to question the validity

With Pickering as his manager it is fairly certain that he is being shopped around in Melbourne.

You mean Chuck? Ex SACA coach? How would he have any info on AFL matters. Is he friendly with Michael Aish?

Hasn't Brisbane offered him a fairly good contract considering he is only in his second year?
Wonder what he is basing his decision on? Money, success, lifestyle or all 3?

Thats what I mean, I dont think he would have much idea and certainly no runs on the board to believe this kind of inside info.

It seems to me that as a new panellist on Dead Set Legends this is an attempt to have him break some big news. By the time the truth comes out people will have forgotten, not remember who said it, or he can just say that he was considering it but something changed in that time.

Jars/Louie will just run with any controversial story and also by reinforcing the rumour started on the same channel it gives it more false credibility somehow

Brisbane aren't in a position to send a player to the PSD.... They need key position players badly!

If Aish does choose a vic club, lions won't let him choose, they will look for the best offer, or put him in the PSD. If he wants to go home, lions need to be compassionate because if they aren't it sends a bad message to the rest of the playing group that they are trapped.

It would not be a smart move for Aish to choose a Vic club.

If Aish does choose a Vic club over us that is a indictment of our clubs recruitment abilities. It also says that Vic clubs are chasing him harder than we are? I hope that is wrong.

that depends on his contract though, and it will be a big one. Walsh to me doesn't seem like a bloke/coach who will give the tick of approval to massively over paying him

It could be as simple as his best mate or mates play for a melbourne club and he wants to go play with them. I don't know who his mates are, but when I was his age that would have been a pretty important thing to me.

I think it's all bullshit leaked by his manager to inflate his price/contract length though.
