We'd be stupid not to move heaven and earth* to get Aish. Just took a look at Brad Ebert for a blueprint on the whole situation. We're crying out for midfield talent, yet playing it a little conservative to avoid coughing up 'too much'. Pls, we were gonna throw half our cap at Jezza, we got the space.

*Pay a little overs.
Any info on the Henderson rumour

First thing I'd be doing is convincing Aish he want him to come to the club.

I'd be sending Tex, brad Crouch, Luke a Brown and Mitch Grigg up early this weekend and have them see the ideas of the club to him.

Have it look like a few Norwood mates are catching up with him. Have the idea, the club is a place he will enjoy his footy.

then talk money after he wants to come to the club.

Story on SEN that Port are openly canvassing Brisbane players who are 'struggling'. Chris Scott are calling Port hypocrites after the Boak fiasco. Aish would have to be one of those players they're pitching to. So, could be a case of Port picking up another young talented player for next to nothing.

There is mention that Scharenberg has stalled on contract talks with the pies, maybe the crows are into both him and Aish in a 3 way deal for Danger?
just a speculation.
I'd probably guess that's more to do with him not having hardly played, so he might be looking to actually play some games before he signs to maximize what he makes.

So Rucci wrote an article about Port not having a crack at Aish? An article that sheds no light on the situation and features zero scoops? Yep sounds like Rucci. Fluff, fluff, fluff.

Rucci is a fluffer?

and there goes my breakfast

Do know that we've made inquiries (as we have with Toumpas) but that's just a case of us canvassing all out of contract SA players really.

Ah jeez not Toumpas talk again. The guy struggles to get a game at Melbourne. Cannot play, don't want.

In fact, it's debatable whether Aish is worth any bother.
 As mentioned above, Brad Ebert was a complete shadow of the player he is at Port when he was at WCE.

:rolleyes:So that means the AFC is going to do the same with these two? I don't think it quite works like that.
No it doesn't but they obviously have talent, in the right setting they could blossom. It's the same with any draft pick really, it's always a gamble. But given our lack of low draft picks in recent times we have no choice but to gamble.
