Story on SEN that Port are openly canvassing Brisbane players who are 'struggling'. Chris Scott are calling Port hypocrites after the Boak fiasco. Aish would have to be one of those players they're pitching to. So, could be a case of Port picking up another young talented player for next to nothing.

Exactly. He had a couple good games, but never thought much of him. He will never make it unfortunatly . I know a few guys who know him and they all reckon he is extremely average too

He is averaging 3 goals a game this year and is on track to better his 50 goal season last year. All while playing minutes further up the ground too.

Sorry wasn't suggesting we paid overs - quite the opposite. If we didn't overpay for betts at a time when we badly needed good press then we won't again for aish. We MAY however "trade overs" to get it done, as port might feign interest just for giggles.

Anything different is sheer lunacy.

No it doesn't but they obviously have talent, in the right setting they could blossom. It's the same with any draft pick really, it's always a gamble. But given our lack of low draft picks in recent times we have no choice but to gamble.

No we don't have to gamble.
We target a quality player we want and chase him hard. Picking up a project always comes at some cost whether it's a second or third round pick.
Keen to pick up a player who can't make it through lack of opportunity, not through lack of ability eg Watts or Toumpas.
