Can someone show me A highlight in the AFL that might change my mind?

Can anyone remember which game it was last year when Aish was running down the wing from the back 50 to the forward 50 receiving the ball, dishing it off, directing the player where to kick it and then receiving the ball again further down the wing?

I can't find it on youtube but I'll ask on the Brisbane board as well.

EDIT: Sorry for the triple post.

I just went searching through some highlights ...

This video does him no favours in terms of the "elite disposal" tag:

And I do not know what the editor was on when he cut this one together ... not sure if it supposed to be funny or not?

If he has one elusive bit of play from his time in the AFL that would be a bit of a worry wouldn't it?

The crows recruiting staff has rated him highly since he was 15, don't reckon 6 weeks of poor form will change anything other than a slight adjustment in the price we need to pay ...but prob not even that

Do agree though we need Carlisle or Henderson more but what happens if that's not possible , we need to be chasing aish

Henderson looks v unlikely to us given cats in box seat , Carlisle hopefully some chance but freo scares me

Well if you think Hendo is unlikely and the Cats are in the box seat, we might as well clear somebodies locker out because he is here next season

He's not elite disposal but he is good on both sides of his body, makes good decisions and has good vision.

The second video is one game, not his career.

I had a quick look at the Bris Ess replay.

I'll say it again. We should be looking elsewhere.

I would love it if things went a bit like this:
-We end 7th, trade pick 12 +30 for Aish and 21
-Draft best outside speed or KPD prospect with 21
-OR ontrade 21 to Carlton for Yarran.

Aish and Yarran would go a long way to fixing our speed problem.

Brisbane won't given up their 2nd Round Pick as they need it for Qld Scholarship player Ben Keays. It could possibly be reworked by trading our 1st Rd Pick to the Suns for their end of 1st Round compensation pick activated + Suns 2nd Round Pick. On-trade Suns 2nd Round Pick + our 2nd Round Pick for Aish.

Am I right in saying Port can't afford Aish and are struggling to keep Schultz because of their salary cap constraints?

That's the impression I got from the commentary on Sunday.

So all this time we've been hearing how everyone wants to play for Port and how they are a great destination club the only reason is is because the lying pricks are paying overs to keep their players. We should be targeting them. They're ripe for the picking.

Not what we need for our forward mix ....need a player that can stand under the high ball ...neither fit that bill

We do need KPP's, but geez, after the glimpses that GWS showed through their midfield on Saturday, we really need some elite level pace and skill through there. That quick, clean ball movement hitting players running in waves at top speed was just scary. We're going to need players in the middle that can counteract that. If we can't do that, it won't matter what KPPs we have on the field.

Alternatively, we could recruit players that can actually hit a target so we don't have to chase down a turnover every second time we dispose of the ball.

Fair enough. Won't be getting both anyhow. We have Lever and Talia as the first two KPD options anyhow. It's the third tall defender option that's up for grabs (long term)

???

Lever is THE perfect option for your 3rd tall. Reads the game brilliantly, takes intercept marks, great agility and speed for someone that's 195cm, cool under pressure, can create off half back and looks to have a very tidy kick on him. 3rd tall spot is locked away for 10+ years, provided nothing unexpected happens.

It's Talia that needs a partner in crime, and desperately too.

If we can get him at a reasonable price. We really need a second KPD. If we were going to offer overs to someone I'd prefer we tried to extract a KPD from somewhere.

Why not both? We should be aiming for 2-3 quality players.

I've tried to find at least one good example of 3+ players traded in over the years.

2010
Hawks - Cheney, Hale, Bruce

2011
Adelaide - Brown, Lynch, Jenkins

2012
Hawks - Lake, Simpkin, Spangher
West Coast - Wellingham, J Cripps, Morton
Port - Monfries, Hombsh, Neade, Coloquoun

2013
St Kilda - Longer, Bruce, Delaney

2014
Melbourne - Frost, Garlett, Lumumba
