What other teams?
Crisp and Greenwood I can see him sharing there Spot.

You are a Super Harsh Marker.

Phillips was good.
Greenwood another unsung hero. He blankets opponents without getting the recognition. Not as damaging as Crisp but he does a good job on them. Better than the Caff.

Players develop at different rates.

Aish in his first year was a jet and nearly won the rising star.

So to say "phillips has shown more in one game than aish" is a very foolish comment.

He will be a slow burn, but i reckon this year is all about resetting aish after brisbane destroyed his development. He is very talented
Nice partial quote. You left out "in any game this year".

I don't buy the resetting. He's a third year player. That comes with expectations.

I'd be interested in seeing Aish's GPS numbers. One of the ABC commentators reckons he doesn't run hard enough. It would be easy to tell whether that's true or not just by looking at his figures.

What I love about Greenwood is he knows how to stick a tackle. Whenever he grabs hold of someone usually the tackle is effective. Missed tackles are an absolute killer.

I don't think I'm being harsh. I haven't bagged him just that I'm underwhelmed.

Can't see him taking Crisps spot and he'd need toincrease his intensity to do Greenwood's job nt I do Thor he's better suited inside.

I agree with you in relation to his quality and supporting Jimmy. He's got my backing.

As for the frame, he doesn't need to be a beast but he does need enough strength and size to stand up to the modern game. That's not a knock on him though, that's just the requirement for all players in modern footy... he'll get there and will play good footy along the way.

There's probably a reason that those three champions your mentioned are all from decades past. Previous eras also allowed blokes like Cowboy Neale, Rene Kink and Brian Taylor to become top shelf players (I'm a Canberran so I have a soft spot for Cowboy). Not so easy to get by as a rake or a bus these days.
Silly comparison to the 3 greats. They had speed. Aish doesn't.

And You Expectations are Miles too High.

So we should of got Rid of Swan after his 3rd Year as he did Nothing and not played AFL Yet?

He did the "hot potato" thing in the last quarter that I don't like.........but I thought he got better as the game went on.

He has the right temperament and drive as a young player.

Must play seniors for the rest of the year IMO.
More He Plays the More Chance he has to Settle Down into the Side.

We are not making Finals so Results are not Super Important

The weeks in the VFL did Jimmy the world of good, with his confidence and appetite for the competition growing each week against the weaker opposition. In what is a good sign, he carried his VFL form into the seniors, and didn't go back into his shell. As many have noted, he now needs to stay in the seniors, where he will likely still have some poor games, and poor patches in games, through to the end of the season. But if his upward trajectory is maintained, then we will have a winner. He is a classy young footballer.

Very well said. VFL has made massive Improvement to his Game.

He still 2-3 years from playing 3 or More Consistent Qtrs ar AFL Level.

At moment be like Fridays Game. He will have some very good moments but still have poor games/patches.

Still very well worth Commiting Too

He seemed to push back well to help out in the backline and be in the right places.

It was a step in the right direction. Long way to go through
If we're being perfectly honest, it would have been very hard for him to head in the other direction given the base he was coming from. If he's picked on the weekend hopefully he can play a good enough game that forces Bucks to give him an extended run in the side. As opposed to giving him a run just to see if he improves with continuity.
