No I really just don't see it. Maybe slightly OTT? OK, I'll concede that, but that's about it. It's Brownie, the great man. He says things bluntly all the time, and this was polite by his standards.

A really precious response by you guys. If I may slip into Brownie mode for a moment here, harden up a bit.

Good luck with him, seriously. I don't mind the guy at all and I don't wish ill on anyone, ever. However, Brownie's comment is a nothing comment. It's a typical "move on, nothing to see here" comment. To put it in perspective, if you were on top of the ladder you'd have laughed it off.
We are laughing it off.........he said Aish is shit and he is wrong.

We understand he has had a lot of hits to his head.......nothing to see here Brown is damaged goods and wrong you're right.

Just got home and watching the replay, I've only watched 2 quarters but think he has been really good. Excellent pressure in contest, a couple tough contested ball gets, excellent disposal and vision.

He said Aish is shit? Where was that? o_O
A bust is shit in my books........I don't give a flying f..k if you don't see it.

By the way Aish will have a good career at the Pies...........you might want to let Brown know when he writes another article in the future........once he gets over his obvious bias!

I'm not sure I agree. I was really impressed with his tackling and contested work tonight. But I was really frustrated by his habit of not taking responsibility for the possession he won. He disposes to players who are worse kicks in worse field position too often. Particularly by hand. I think when he gets to find that composure to look at options further afield and hit them up when he is under pressure, we will have a beauty. But right now he treats the footy a little bit too much like a hot potato.
It will come and he took the game on a bit.

Maybe he feels like he can get ball to a player running past have better chance.

Should improve when he feels like he belongs in the AFL Side.

Kicked some lovely kicks to Cloke

Aside from Pendles, Reid and Grundy he was our best last night. On a night when Collingwood were seven shades of shit, choosing poor targets, slipping over and fumbling like the ball was a cake of soap to see Aish put up such a composed game with ball in hand was very pleasing.

Agree. 18 disposals is an improvement in his ability to get the ball, and he used it well in general (although there was one awful kick inside 50 that stood out).

Easily the best game he's played for the club, and he's starting to gain more confidence in his ability too. Nowhere near the amount of sideways kicks/handballs under no pressure like we were seeing earlier in the year.

Aish was excellent. Much maligned. The kid is a 20-21 year old, had injury issues, had Brisbane bear issues and had come to a massively intimidating club with extreme pressures to perform highly from day dot.

Has performed well in the past couple of games. Lots to work with and as team becomes a more cohesive unit he will flourish.

Much like the Maynard hating on here, he gets judged quite harshly. Played much better than many of established players so he deserves the kudos he's getting.

He, along with Maynard, will be a very good player for us.

Let's leave the discussion to Aish.

He was one of the positives I thought to come out of yesterdays pretty poor all-round showing.

Was impressed he stood his ground and put his head over the ball. He needs these games and will continue to improve. We should continue getting games into him and pretty confident he'll be a big part in our future.

As I've said I won't judge Aish till next season, I had very low expectations on him this year coming off a shocking personal and football season last year.

Now he's just starting to show what he is capable of, will push for best 22 early next season.

Was good yesterday. Hard at it and some creative disposals. Took an incredibly courageous mark as well.

He was very good when injected into there centre square. His instincts in close appear to be excellent.

I think it's all a confidence thing with him. Give him five straight games and he'll be playing a very consistent and important role.

Agree. He has a great footy brain. Always seems to be in good spots. Read it off the pack well a few times last night.
Really want our young guys to get a block of games together.
