Best 22. Don't want to see him gone. Would probably need to be late first or early second but hope he stays regardless.

Either would be overs i reckon but might take that to get him out of his contract.
Best 22, premiership player, coming into his prime and contracted.
Being contracted for at least 2 more years would mean we would push for slightly overs. Being a late first rounder.
Would get eaten up by the Davey bid anyway so happy to trade it

22 for Harmes bit high more like pick 30 if you rate Harmes and Amon I imagine Amon would rate bit higher
Amon was a free agent, Harmes is a contracted player. Big difference.
The recipient of the Amon transaction also had no say in what the compensation would be

True but still the quality of the player will speak 22 is still high
Sparrow plays a similar role and Brayshaw, who'd been back, pushed Harmes out of a midfield rotation late in the year.
If we can free up some cap space to bring Hunter in to play on a wing opposite Langdon it makes sense.
James Jordon can also cover Harmes' role.

Doesn't happen to big successful clubs unless there are other issues, in this case cultural.
