Squiggle tips Demons at 77% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
Yep and comes over 3 or 4 times a year , not that it would give any indication on where he would go if he is good enough but he has been part of the program for a few years now.Wanganeen? Tex was at Prince Alfred in Adelaide last I heard.
Does it mean anything that none of these feature on your 2020 draft board?Currently listed James Hird Academy members:

Eyre and Brand could make their way in my rankings, always harder to rate the talls unless their absolute freaks.Does it mean anything that none of these feature on your 2020 draft board?
Yeah it’s just all the kids eligible under f/s (parent/child?) rules. So if their dad played 100 games for us. I assume there’s an element of choice, they don’t have to turn up or tell the club the kid even exists....are they automatically in by virtue of their birth? Seems a bit premature to think we've got a footballer by the age of 2... or young Sophie Howlett is obviously gifted.
Please don't tell me he is eligible to Collingwood under the NGA.....I’ll get my first look at Tex Wanganeen on Sunday, has been named to play for Oakleigh in their first practise match.
Of course Oakleigh have managed to get another kid not from their zone in the side. What school is he at? If he is interstate schooling, if he plays champs eventually how will he train with south aus, or will he play for Vic?I’ll get my first look at Tex Wanganeen on Sunday, has been named to play for Oakleigh in their first practise match.

All safe therePlease don't tell me he is eligible to Collingwood under the NGA.....
Yeah Xavier, think he ends up playing SA in this case at the champs.Of course Oakleigh have managed to get another kid not from their zone in the side. What school is he at? If he is interstate schooling, if he plays champs eventually how will he train with south aus, or will he play for Vic?
Are there others you're also yet to see?I’ll get my first look at Tex Wanganeen on Sunday, has been named to play for Oakleigh in their first practise match.
A few playing for Calder, Luca Alessio/Carlos Egan/Matt Foley Who I might be able to see next week if their next practise match is suitable. Are there others you're also yet to see?
That's exciting. Looking forward to your observations.A few playing for Calder, Luca Alessio/Carlos Egan/Matt Foley Who I might be able to see next week if their next practise match is suitable.
Footy smarts and kicks on both sides. Yes please.Tex ended the game with about 10 disposals and would have played about 55% game time.
The good
Queries
- footy smarts
- one touch
- speed + agility
- dual sided/ lovely kick
- good timing
He left a good impression and played almost exclusively as a midfielder but see him becoming more of a flanker/wingman at the next level.

Is it paranoid that whenever an indigenous father son plays at a TAC club I get worried that that associated club will try and and swoop.Well I wasn’t expecting this but Alwyn Davey jr played for Oakleigh in the under 16s today and boy oh boy does he look a player.
His speed, agility and nous around goal are fantastic and in a fast paced and frantic game his style of play really came to the fold.
Nah Collingwood can’t grab them, same situation was with Lachlan Johnson even though he went to Oakleigh in his draft year he didn’t fall under pies nga.Is it paranoid that whenever an indigenous father son plays at a TAC club I get worried that that associated club will try and and swoop.
For example i can imagine if an indigenous kid is playing well for the Oakleigh chargers then Collingwood will be trying to worm their way into his head...
Or have I not got the Next gen rules right?
I think that it depends how long they live there. Plus I'm unsure if Xavier is part of their zone.Is it paranoid that whenever an indigenous father son plays at a TAC club I get worried that that associated club will try and and swoop.

Thank the footy lords that Hirdy made sure that we got froggy to 100 games, could be the best thing to come out of 2013. Where did he spend a majority of his game time.. forward pocket?Well I wasn’t expecting this but Alwyn Davey jr played for Oakleigh in the under 16s today and boy oh boy does he look a player.

Yeah mostly forward but got a taste in the midfield in the last quarter. Both sides where stupidly talented, put the Eastern and Gippsland 16s I watched on Saturday to shame.Thank the footy lords than Hirdy made sure that we got froggy to 100 games, could be the best thing to come out of 2013. Vic underage footy is going that way. Sandy and oakleigh absolute powerhouses with the amount of talent they manage to get their hands on these days.Yeah mostly forward but got a taste in the midfield in the last quarter.
