There are many our here who would be happy to do that. All we've wanted to hear is some sort of remorse from Hird for his part in the drug saga, but as of yet we've heard nothing. Until that happens, he can get stuffed.
You’re deaf, or a moron. Or both.

He spent most of 2010 undermining Matthew Knights.

Looks like he wants to do the same to Worsfold in 2019.

It is not about money, he has as much as he needs every year for the rest of his life. It is about him.
His ego needs to be feed at an amazing rate

Meh. He was "caught" doing less mischief than a lot of people previously or currently involved in the administration of football clubs or the AFL organisation.

To the extent that he did do wrong, he has been punished.

I am so surprised that he receives so much vitriol still. Maybe someone will see this as controversial but I reckon I see less vitriol for terrorists or rapists.

He clung on for as long as he possibly could, throwing colleague after colleague under the bus until there was no one else left, dragged his club and the game through as much shit as possible in order to save his own hide, and people wonder why some of us aren't exactly keen to welcome the parasite back with open arms.

He was the tallest of tall poppies. People revelled in it. They still do.

TBH i'm not even sure the exact extent of what he did. I heard things above like Father Jack posted, I'm not sure this is 100 percent correct? If so, **** the campaigner. He shouldn't be allowed back. If not, I'm glad he is. He went through a lot, and people deserve second chances.

I suggest reading up and forming your own opinion. Don’t be a sheep.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand James Hird
THIS!!! I understand James Hird and want him to coach Essendon again. Absolute genius. Great player and WAS on his way to being a very good coach. #WitchHunt#StandbyHird.

Pretty much how i feel. I also think people are pretty naive in thinking this sort of stuff(on a much bigger scale) isn't happening in all of their favourite sports worldwide.
