All club supporters have a to be expected bias towords their own players.
the majority of calrton supporters though take this to the extreme.

They refuse to look through the hatred they have for everyone else in the league and judge each player or club on their merits.

It would be good if there was some way to exclude supporters of the clubs involved in the poll from voting

I think Hird has Harvey covered, although both are obviously champions.

Dual premiership player, premiership captain and won more games off his own boot, just to name a few

Hi Merv... I think you must be slipping in your old age... You forgot to mention how Brendan Fevola is such a cancer to the club and that Carlton will never go anywhere while he's there etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

Hey Barry, not slipping mate, only post that sort of info, when the thread or a comment by a poster relates to something along the lines of fev and his cancerous effects.

This thread was about Hirdy and Kouta, with fev nowhere to be seen, so no need to mention him.

Hirds injury prone...where you been what about kouta...he has life member ship at red cross buddy Hird by a long way...and you have never seen hird do nothing good....ohhh please...get out of bed

and those 2 seasons Hird was sidelined with injury.
So Kouta's best seasons don't count because Hird was injured?

Kouta dragged a pretty average side to the finals in 2000 and that deserves as much respect as any of Hird's best years.

He was unstoppable that year.

yet Woewodin won the Brownlow, Kouta's best was overshadowed by a guy who cares more about his sun bed than football.
