I am going to be critisized a fair bit for it but you can bash me up next week as I'll be at at Port v Ess but all the articles and videos of him saying he used to look forward to every match vs Hawthorn just so he could rub it in their faces and calling the players pathetic, this surely had to play a reasonable part in the improvement in passion and pressure. Sorry am on my phone and quite drunk so my spelling etc mightn't be the best :p I knew we'd won from the bounce, we'd come to play and when we do we often win (if skills are ok)

Damn you, you had me really excited with the thread title.

Nevertheless, I also endorse this thread.

And Dermies last.

straight out and said we wouldnt be able to attack the hawks and without that pressure, win the game.

two words. Tom Murphy.
weak link in the hawks defence. throw him forward, roughead back, might stop the leaks.

oh, and nice jumper burning :)
draw a line through the ashes and see if anything comes of it.

They say James is more likely to be the el President rather than Coach. He can still have a lot of influence over the group though, look what Stynes has done for Melbourne (regardless of his illness :( ).

You should be studying, not pissing up and posting on the internet this late at night. :p

Jimmy was a champion player, extremely gifted in talent. And more than that, Jimmy had this death wish to go into packs as if he was a bowling ball heading for a strike, and bugger any injuries that would ensue - let the Epworth worry about that afterwards.

Jimmy had the respect of his own team mates as well as all opponents that came up against him. It is not surprising that his words went right to the heart of every Bomber, and they reacted by playing with heart.

I hope this is a wake up call for Jimmy - I hope he now fully realises his destiny as the future coach of his beloved club.
