All you haters are just miserable because you can't strum 3 chords on a mini-guitar.

Personally, I like the song. Simple stuff, catchy and uplifting.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I'm a rock and metal boy from way back. My tastes have diversified over the years and I now love lots of different music. (metal will be my first and only true love)

I went and watched George Clinton and Parliament Funk a couple of years ago and rate it in my top 3 live performances ever (AC/DC came in at no 1 - 1st and definitely the loudest concert) but last year I saw a guy play a ukelele at The Corner and it was epic. I would have never even thought of checking it out unless a good mate of mine (a fellow rock lover who works at Maton Guitars) told me to check it out. It was Jake Shimibukuru but watching it on You Tube simply wouldn't do it justice.

What I'm getting at is, stop being a hater just because it's not your thing. It might not be right now but maybe it will be one day. Don't associate the same rules to music that you do to footy. I hated Carlton as a kid. I hate Carlton as an adult. I will always hate Carlton. I didn't like Stevie Wonder as a kid but I love Stevie Wonder as an adult. So many more examples I could use.

Different music is awesome! Why hasn't anyone offered up an alternative station to Triple J?!?

Catch someone doing something right and promote them (I hear RRR or PBS are doing the right thing but I shouldn't comment because I don't listen to radio anymore) rather than pointing out the wrongs of Triple J?

Go Music!

This.
I own a pub and put on bands at least once a month. And lot of these performers get more respect in europe and in the USA than they do here. It almost seems if you dont do khe Sanh and ac\dc covers no one listens or cares. If James can make a ukulele sound cool and hip and play footy he can get gig here and maybe play footy for local team anytime.:)

Where did he play before Coburg?

He's done so well for himself - he custom made his ukelele to have one guitar string, the demand has been so high for his instrument that he's been approached by a guitar brand to make them. Currently dating Julia Stone too
