What a great pickup. Worth every dollar and more easily.
Has great agility... can't think of a player with more agility

I would. Yesterday's performance was definitely an A grade game from a midfielder.Wouldn’t go quite that far, but he was much better this week. Still plenty of development in him too (only 49 games).
I had him as our second best player, based mainly on displayed skill and impact.Very powerful and agile over the first few meters - he gets out of congestion that way.
He can go laterally at speed as well.
Definitely playing really well the last two weeks. Would have to be close to getting coaches votes.

Yes. What I like about him is that he is different. I would describe him as a footballer first, with multiple skills, rather than any stock positional desciption. (Nankervis may be another oneHas not only added to our midfield depth but importantly balance as has good pace & doesn't mind tackling.
We look much better with deeper rotations.
I have no problem with this. Regardless of whatever position he was nominally playing, he uniformly impacted positively across the whole game. I had him as second best.Bloke literally had us single-handedly storming back into the game in the 2nd quarter with his work in the middle. Then what do Nicks and co do after HT? Barely put him into the centre for the rest of the game. Blows my mind with these coaches sometimes.
Agree regarding Peatling. Milera used to have agility. He would slip tackle after tackle with his agility. He now seems to have lost it. Sadly, I have not noticed that previous weapon of Milera's this year.Very powerful and agile over the first few meters - he gets out of congestion that way.

Peatling has a different kind of agility... milera was just evasive with good feints... peatling is just fast and great turn and sidestep...Agree regarding Peatling. Milera used to have agility. I reckon it would be good to have one more gun midfielder right now, say Rowell.Keep playing like that and he is clearly a top 10 player at the club with the ability to push higher. Pretty good “fourth wheel” in the midfield after Dawson, Rankine (who with calf probably needs to play more forward over coming weeks whilst Rash is out) and Soli. Draper to jump into that mix over the next year IMO.
Thats a very nice top 5 midfield and lots of depth under it.
Is midfield even our greatest need any longer I wonder..I think the midfield rebuild is basically done
Nice package from Saturday's game
Well, we need to make him an offer he just can't refuse.I reckon it would be good to have one more gun midfielder right now, say Rowell.
This would relieve the load on Dawson and Rankine's bodies and help phase out Crouch while Draper is developing.
That would make it very sustainable.
Campo dislikes this.Bump

The umpire took forever to blow the whistle, but yeah I'm happy for that to be a week if it's consistentHe's been offered one week for his dump tackle
Can't really see him getting off there was a definite second movement that he didn't need to do
It's a shame
I dont think we are, but it did make me pay attention to a few of those sling tackles this weekend. Is there any word on whether the Crows has contested the charge? They had until this morning to do so, from memory.
One week seems fair to be honest.
