I love my rainbows and happy sunshine. Hope what was posted is not true but if it is he shouldn't be thinking about being a professional sportsmen. Just too risky.

Hard to know without more info, heart surgery can be very minor right up to career-ending.

Didn't Chris Newman of Richmond have heart surgery 2-3 weeks before Rd 1,which he played ?

Well we won't be seeing him again then. Good luck to him and hope he has a happy healthy life.

There are straightforward heart procedures like the one Chris Newman has come back from recently. We have no idea the extent of this one so I'm not sure why you'd jump to this conclusion.

The sarcastic prick in me wonders also if the club should get a flogging for not having Someone tweeting from the OR...

But seriously, let's just hope that he gets back to normal health safely and a normal life ASAP.
The rest will follow if it's able to. Seems like such a good kid too.
