But that article....Dr Peter Larkins raised a good point - at the the time (2012) it seemed like a first for a player in the AFL.

I wonder why this option hasn't been taken on other occasions for other players in the AFL? It could accelerate recovery times, it certainly did for Andy.

Maybe it's an option for all clubs to look at going forward?
Yeah i agree. Krak's seemed to be a success so im not sure what the issue was or is. Nick Malceski had the LARS and seemed to miss 2 weeks every time he done one

I'd use dead elephant ligament - surely it's stronger than the shitty human ACLs. Bailing twine is pretty strong and flexible too. Heaps of options really. The club is shithouse.

Id have a look at dead cane toad knee ligaments. He’ll be able to jump about 20 meters in the air and be poisonous preventing any defenders playing on him

It'd be worth doing pre-emptive cane toad ligament replacement surgery on all our new draftees.
