And at the end of it we steal Diouf for 2.5m or sign him on a pre-contract :D . I would prefer if you hurry up and sell Prozzie, I'd really enjoy receiving him now instead of when we're in the championship! He'd keep us up IMO.

Apparently Zaha wanted to head back to you guys but Moyes doesn't want him settling back into London. I'm happy with that :)
Yeah I'd love to see him get loaned out and get some game time even if it is to a fellow relegation battle team.

Not sure I'd call paying £20m odd for a player you owned a couple of years ago a bargain, no matter how good he turns out to be.
If you take out the power of hindsight, I think it is.

We are getting a player for a price that is imo €10mil+ under what he's worth. We need a CM to complement Ramires and we are getting the best available.

Plus the two people responsible for selling him are no longer at the club (they we're also the guys who bought Torres).

I find it funny that you think in your position that players at clubs in a better position are going to want to leave that for United.
Did you ever think you would spend the money and sign someone like Ozil?

I can't imagine too many Arsenal supporters would have thought that would happen before the season.

Man City and Chelsea add PSG and Monaco all have lots of money, go out and buy the best and build a squad capable of winning trophies. They weren't exactly troubling other clubs before the money came in.

I have no doubt United will spend and we will overspend to get the right players to get back up. We simply can't afford not to.

I know people wish for a United downfall but this season is the best you'll get.

Can honestly see United doing a Liverpool and missing top 4 for a couple of seasons. Old Trafford isn't the big draw card it once was.

People asking about Matic - I can tell you it is a done deal if he passes his medical in London. Fee will be €26.3 million.

What a bargain.

Zouma next please.
You seriously need to just wait, you quote 10 different fees from 10 different journalists a day. What's the point, none of then actually know.

Just ignore it if you don't like it. The threads about transfers and rumours and the Matic deal is probably the highest profile one ATM.

Can't help but get excited about this transfer.

Plus im not the only one with the updates ;)

It doesn't bother me, because I used to do the exact same thing except I lived on newsnow rather than Twitter. Just saying that it's kind of pointless to not only post a number of contradictory tweets every day, but to get excited/be apprehensive at the fee each time one is quoted.

Fair enough, each to their own.

Yep. Some of the stuff being said is laughable.
Exactly, quite funny to read though, gives me a good laugh here and there.

Going by some of the people on here, united are in a massive crisis, have the worst manager in the world and can't attract ANY players.

I thought this was the transfer thread to discuss and provide information about potential transfers, usually with a lot of news sources the closer a deal is to being completed? Or am I in the wrong place?

And they won the league just a half a year ago? Great job, Moyes, you have done what you were suppose to do

All it is is jealousy. In the last 7 seasons, we have won 5 and lost the other 2 by 1 point and goal difference while having a considerably smaller spend/net spend. If I was in the position of supporting a lesser club (all other English clubs) I would probably do the same. You don't often get a chance to stick the boot into Manchester United so you might as well while you still have the chance. Evan though it's our worst season in as far as I can remember, we are still only a few games of the top with a lot of class to come back.

Anyone who has said a negative word about this great club will be made to eat their words. Don't know when exactly, but it's only a matter of time
