'The amount of big players wanting to join United is incredible.'

‘Some players go for the money at other clubs but, if you ask them where they really want to be, they want to wear the badge of Manchester United, not only the biggest club in this country but in the world.

'Some of the results have not been what you want, but I wouldn't say the aura is fading. In fact, I think the opposite.

'It won't be an issue when trying to sign players, not from the trips I am making and the things I am hearing.'

And yet he signed Fellaini in the last transfer window

Also, Jamie Redknapp made an excellent point earlier. Smalling and Jones are decent young players with good potential, and both play for England - but would they have come close to either England's or United's team 4 or 5 years back?

Campbell, Terry, Carragher, Ferdinand and King are all vastly superior players - but even they weren't the best defence in the world.

Redknapp asked whether Smalling was any better than Brown or O'Shea (I think he is, but he's closer to them than any of the above). Did Ferguson leave United in a hole?

i wouldnt say ferguson did. their board did though. he left a team that had just won the title, with obvious holes that needed to be filled. while i think moyes is a terrible manager who is in no way good enough to manage manchester united, he was let down big time by a rookie in woodward.

yeah coleman's been great, now he's finally got a manager who compliments attacking and stylish football is where he's excelling. similar to kolarov in that sense.

If were not going to do any business now then the summer window must be big, pressure keeps mounting on Moyes, if he fails again, well there will be serious questions asked.

Summer will be big for us. Big changes will occur. Personally I hope we sell RVP while he still has some value

Hopefully. I hope we sign a LB, CB, CM x2 and a winger.

We won't be selling RVP, would be crazy to do so, when for is one of the best going around, and with the possibility of Rooney leaving, we need him. Were now being linked with Cavani now, lol.

You don't need a CM, you've got Giggs.
