Attacking mids don't score goals regularly in the PL unless they are true number 10s like VDV or Bergkamp etc.

Imo he wouldn't be prolific here, 1 in 4-5 he'd probably go at instead of 1 in 2, if anything an Oscar or Eriksen type output would be the best he could hope for

A gun winger would be more likely to be prolific instead in England
He can play as a striker anyways. He's prolific in Ukraine. More than a goal a game. 26 in 25 in all comps. You never how they will adapt until they get here and start playing in the league. But scoring goals isnt an issue for him it seems.

Who knows, we probably wont sign him.

A lot easier to be a goal a game midfielder against the likes of Karpaty Lviv and Hoverla Uzhhorod than it is against Stoke and Watford
Of course, but better to be a goal a game AM against those sides rather than getting 10 in 26.

He can only play against who he plays against.

Wow NUFC Tiger Harper has signed for Scumberland. I feel sick.
Yeah saw that! Bit of a shock when I read it. Looks happy to be there, doesn't he? :p

Honestly, I'm not too fussed. Harps has been a great servant and given 20 years to the club with a lot of time having to warm the bench. He's a proud Geordie and is just trying to make the most of presumably his last chance in the PL. I wouldn't personally begrudge him that and seems many other toon fans are of a similar mind.

The sad thing to come out of this is he apparently deleted his twitter account only 43 minutes after it was announced as he copped abuse from both Toon and Mackem fans.

Then again, if he were to 'accidentally' have a few howlers in the derby, I don't think many of the upset fans would mind. ;)

Agent Harper has been deployed! :D

Sunderland are being very, very weird. Sold Pantillimon who last season was great for them, has only really dropped off this season & is shipped off. Then replaced by a career back-up player? It's almost as if they want to be relegated

Think he's going to be their third choice.
