Brisbane unable to stop the momentum

In what has been an extraordinary 24 hours, Brisbane is set to lose promising excitement machine Jared Brennan to Essendon on the back of an irresistible movement by prominent football website, Bomberblitz.com.

What makes this occurance even more astounding is the fact that Brisbane had no intention of trading the enigmatic utility until, in a moment of meta-criticism, one poster commented on the momentum with which the push to secure Brennan was gaining.

Once the phenomenon was observed, it seemed inevitable that Brennan, 23, would end up at the Bombers.

Leigh Mathews was quoted as saying 'Well, we didn't want to trade him. But Browny (Jon Brown) alerted us to the thread'. Sources close to the Lions indicate that Brown was looking for pr0n at the time and was drawn to the story, through the interwebs, by its own shear momentum.

You implied he wasn't deserving of the money he paid because his goal kicking wasn't up to scratch.

I think you might have heard someone from West Coast say that.
I've heard them trot out those lines a couple of times.

For them it does finish at 12PM today.

For us, it's 2PM.

You are correct in saying the TRADE period finishes at 2pm today. The draft is in 6 weeks or so.

I would love for us to get Hadley as well. I reckon offer pick 23 for Hadley - he's a pretty good midfielder and then pick up Brennan in the PSD!
