Doubt he’s a s**t bloke, more likely he’s a non conformist especially within the context of cliques at footy clubs.

Tredrea conforming what I had been saying from day one. We low-balled Polec as we weren’t serious about retaining him. Had nothing to do with North or his injury history. I’m owed about a million apologies.

I honestly don't believe the 'different personalities' inside football clubs are that different. They certainly wouldn't stand out in a crowd of randomly selected folk. It's just that football club cultures can be incredibly insular and some personalities and drive it to new levels.

To say Polec is different or werid, now that is weird and different. People that weird and different don't make careers out of AFL.

North Melbourne supporter Marstermind has absolutely nailed it, re Polec in the main board AFL Lookalikes Chapter 6 thread. He has him pegged as looking like Ex-Manson Family member and chief prosecution witness in Charles Manson's trial, Linda Kasabian.
