OK, so I know we've all talked about this a million times now BUT...
Assuming the Crows lose against Port (which I hope won't happen) then I think it is fair to say our season is over and we will be looking for a new coach next year.
SO... what do you all think about Andrew Jarman's coaching skills/potential, maybe for our next coach or maybe somewhere down the line?
For what it's worth and even though I think Gary Ayres is not the man to win us a flag, I must admit the guy has really earned my respect. He is one rock solid guy and I think is a pretty reasonable coach, just not a "star" coach. I think that what he had done with the club (up until last year) was a pretty good effort, but he just seems to be losing the players and you can see it on the field in their eyes, no matter what they (the players) say. Perhaps in the end it won't come down to his coaching ability as much as it will come down to the players needing to hear a different voice.
I actually hope I am wrong in all of this, because I'd like to see Gary succeed. I must admit after reading all the posts about his career on these boards, I am a little curious to see if things would turn the corner given a little more time to truly develop and recruit new players.
thoughts?
