Good luck to the people's pony. A premiership and 150 games is more than the vast majority of players can ever boast. He got the absolute most out of himself and did us and himself proud.

Never again reached the heights that launched his career but he did pretty well overall. Can't question his commitment to the club. Deserved a much better exit.

Been a fantastic player to have around the club, came from a long way back, too small, too slow, too inside, couldn't kick over a beer can. Got himself off the rookie list and won a flag in his 12th game. Very solid Magpie for the past decade. Thanks Blairy, all the very best for the future.

He copped too much flak from our supporter base over the years and deserved more respect.

Blairy can leave with his head held up high for everything he achieved and for leaving no stone unturned. Many talented players don't fulfil their potential or make the most of their career, but Blair deserves all the credit he receives for getting everything out of himself and giving his all for the club.

Some of my favourite Jarryd Blair moments:
- His goal in the 2010 Grand Final.
- Five goals against Carlton in round 3 2011.
- Kicked the winner on ANZAC Day 2012.
- Kicked the impossible goal from the boundary line against GWS in 2016.

A great servant of the club and a premiership player, which will always be etched next to his name.

Thank you for the memories, Blairy.

Well done Jarryd on a fine career and the premiership medal
Great bloke and clubman all the best

While i've never been a fan of short people in the team, i respect the fact that blair always gave his best... even when the rest of the team would get panic attacks and find ways to lose. It's actually a positive sign for the team that we can drop him off the list.

Premiership player.
Respect.
But gifted way to many games because the coach believed in his perceived pressure, despite the inability to win the ball.
Turned out the team also believed he was a lead up 6 foot 5 marking forward. Not his fault he was the only one leading to the ball.
A patchy career after a great first dozen games.
But as others have said, he came from a long long way back and carved a career to be proud of.
Overall, a contributor to The Collingwood story.
Well done and good luck.

Five goals against Carlton in round 3 2011.

Remember this game well. Blair had a night out. Dawes, Krack and Cloke kicked multiples as well. All gone, but not forgotten.

Blairy can move to the next stage of his life knowing he had an above average AFL career, which is an amazing achievement.

Loved Blairy as soon as seeeing him early in his 1st year playing VFL. Just had a look of a bloke who would will himself to make it. Great story, great career, great effort. One of my favourite Magpies. Did the jumper proud always, 100% effort.
