Yesterday former St. Kilda player Jason Cripps told the Devils he would be returning home to Victoria. Cripps still has 1 year left on his contract, but Devils president Guy Abel announced they will be clearing Cripps. Cripps has taken a job at St. Kilda it sounds like it is the same job he was doing down here something to do with kids.

Tasmania is reportedly chasing former Burnie, Richmond and St. Kilda player Justin Plapp, who is in the state after getting married in his home town of Penquin. The Devils are keen for Plapp to stay in the state and play for the Devils.

Plapp has trained all around Australia, you have a better chance of winning powerball than knowing where he will play.

The only part of this that i (still) don't like is that Cripps is a 'former' St Kilda player. Oh well cant have those in form 26-27 yr olds stopping the kids from getting a run and stuffing up the all powerful 'process' can we!
