I like Dunstall, what a great player he was and I think he's pretty good in the media. The only thing about him is his 'hairstyle'. For years he's had that spot on his clear dome, talk about desperately clinging on.

Think he talks very intelligently, and knows his stuff. Was one of the all time greats, and has done a good job for hawthorn off the field as well. Apparently the club wanted him to continue on as CEO for as long as possible after how well he went at the position last year.

However, the great man's role in the next Hawthorn dynasty cannot be overlooked.

He wanted Clarkson. He went against the trend in refusing to appoint a seasoned coach, preferring to look for, as he put it, the next Leigh Mathews.

I think he appointed the right guy. And to think some wanted Gary Ayres (hello, Mr Brereton).

I can't believe how stupid some of these posts have been. Dunstall is great on radio and on TV. For the bright sparks who are calling him 'moody', that's the role he's playing. Has a great dry sense of humour and is as witty as anyone. That 'Street Talk' bit, it was all tongue-in-cheek.

Nice to meet you Jason. Congrats on a great career. You were almost as good as Plugger.
I respect you for being strong in the gun as a stand-in CEO which looks like having immediate and positive impact. Our resident legendary Hawk poster Suzi thought you should get the job fulltime in fact.
Not a bad commentator too, except I think you were biting your (curled) lip when Plugger floated through no. 1300 on 6/6/99.

Not a super human, but a lot better than some others.
